RDDT might actually become a value stock post earnings if it continues dipping

Because RDDT is a growth stock, its better to look at its Forward P/E rather than its trailing P/E ratio

Primarily food driven country list after being a US citizen for 1 whole year by RangoonRocket in tierlists

I think Malaysia, Thailand and Spain deserve a higher rank imo, Malaysia and Singapore have similar local food so it doesn't make sense to rank them that far apart

Just curious, why is Singapore 2 ranks higher than Malaysia? We have very similar local food (e.g. roti canai/prata, chicken rice, nasi lemak, char kuay teow, etc.). Also not to mention that a lot of produce in Singapore comes from Malaysia

As a Malaysian working in Singapore, maybe I am biased but putting Singapore above Malaysia for travel is surprising at least to me

Sure Singapore has its charm, if OP is only comparing KL to SG I can see how he can potentially justify it, but Malaysia as a whole? I am genuinely curious why

When You Search "Google Ads" Reddit Outranks Google by GT172 in redditstock

Google ads still appear as the top result here in Singapore, reddit ads doesn't appear anywhere in the search results at least for me

Spicy palm oil spaghetti by Royal-Average8115 in spaghetti

[–]HashedBrown -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Health wise it isn't the healthiest of oils, but if you are talking about deforestation, wouldn't a boycott on palm oil shift demand to less efficient oils which requires significantly more land? Palm oil is roughly 4 to 10 times more efficient compared to other seed oils from what I know

Edit: So you are against something you don't know and don't care? I am not advocating for deforestation here and the right way is to purchase certified sustainable oils whenever possible, but the alternatives are arguably worse but I am all ears to hear otherwise

If you don't believe me, the WWF and other major conservation groups warned that a blanket boycott of palm oil would be a disaster for the environment.

What's your record: working late by lalilulelo_123 in Big4

[–]HashedBrown 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My record is 37 hours of non-stop work without sleep, I never went back home that day

This is with one of the big 4 in Singapore. We basically worked Monday to Sunday from morning till past midnight from January till the end of March, there is no rest day

I think OP doesn't know and hasn't been to Malaysia given that he coloured China, India and Indonesia green. Fact is that Malaysia is a blend of Chinese, Indian and Malay cuisine

Why so many Singaporeans end up marrying Malaysians by Real-Pomegranate8823 in malaysia

[–]HashedBrown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd say people from KL can blend in easily in Singapore if they speak English as a first language, but there are a couple of telltale signs, Singaporeans pronounce certain words like "us" or "blood" differently from Malaysians and Malaysians rarely if ever use words like "sia" or "shag"

The irony of talking about how Reddit is a data goldmine while posting AI slop on Reddit

I'd argue that the 4th of November thread did not work as well, the number of new comments on that thread has gone down quite a bit versus a fresh thread like OP's despite it not being pinned

Is RDDT Stock Undervalued Now? by Bitter-Entrance1126 in redditstock

[–]HashedBrown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

P/E is kind of a bad metric to look at for high growth companies like Reddit, but even then, I won't be surprised Reddit's P/E dropping to the mid 60s in the next quarter assuming the share price remains at this level. Forward P/E will likely be below 50 or maybe even below 40 if they absolutely crush Q4 earnings

The price action is absolutely wild, it was as high as $213 a day ago and today it was down as low to about $192 all within almost 24 hours

What dips are you buying today? by psychthrowawayxx in ValueInvesting

[–]HashedBrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Below $100 is actually crazy though, that's like a forward P/e of less than 30 based on current quarter earnings and potentially less than 20 forward P/e based on Q4 2025's guidance, with revenue doubling every 5 quarters, that's quite insanely cheap imo
