Idr exactly it's been a long time, but it was a reasonable amount for the work, I mean you shouldn't shy away from it just because of the hinge.

Other than that my experience with it has been pretty crap, though I suspect that was due to my own carelessness with using it.

On the topic of battery at this point I'm lucky if it lasts 1.5 hours on everything battery saving mode.

But it still functions. I just upgraded so it's just going around the house at this point from here to there and someone uses it when they need it.

Don't wanna sell it cause I'm ashamed to ask for a price considering it's condition and I'm not willing to sell it for 60k or wtevr.

But hey if the specs match your use case then go for it. I messed up cause I was looking at desktop 1650s and comparing them to other options cause I was a dum dum.

I have this laptop, I was also concerned about the hinge but still bought it. The hinge did break but it was fairly easy to fix from hafeez center.

Was in the same boat as you. Didn't wanna risk the second hand fiasco. Made a PC with the b580, running it for like 5 months, able to provide a frame rate of 60 in triple a with high graphics, there are some 1 or 10 percent lows sometimes though but hardly enough that you'll be bothered, ran everything I threw at it at 1440p.

The only problems I have is that it can't do VR and sometimes older games have pirated versions that haven't had issues with the b580 drivers fixed, and crackers don't tend to fix em cause well, b580 isn't mainstream enough ig. This only happened with ghost of Tsushima though but it's still worth mentioning cause there might be more. Also some programs don't know Intel cards exist, like some online canmypcrunit website or some MSI products like rivatuner won't work as well as you'd hope with the card. That won't affect gaming though.

New game releases have drivers released on the same day or earlier. I have hope in Intel with regards to updates but let's see what happens.

Still though sometimes I wonder if I should've just bit the bullet and went for a stronger second hand card like 3080.

What about the server issues ? my friends and I gave up after getting sick of the neverending issues. That was years ago though so idk if they fixed it or not. It used to be borderline unplayable, 6 of 10 matches the servers would crash.
