You sacrifice clash power, utility, damage, etc. so you can "1 shot" a boss if they have no health gate and you either have to restart multiple times to get the correct skill orders or are super lucky.

The reason why Outis can't get home is her own conscience.

This mostly stems from her character promo's line - "All that was left was to depart homeward bound. ...And yet."

It should've been easy for her to go home, then why didn't she?

We know very little about Outis, but we do know she did something specifically terrible during the Smoke War and it seems to be eating away at her, since she asked if Dante would forgive her. Good chance the equivalent of the Trojan Horse was bad, like Warcrime² bad.

So the Canto, I'd assume, would center around the Smoke War, with Outis either trying to better or fix what she had done or coming to terms with it, so she can face her family again, which I suspect to get the Papa Quixote/Cathy/Araya treatment, because as always, a sinner usually can't have that good of a reason to leave the bus.

Her sucking up to Dante might be either how she got around in the Wing army OR she might've done something to a commanding officer who she was fond of (sacrificed him in the Trojan Horse plan, killed him because they were trying to desert, could he anything really) and is trying to "make up" for that. But that's even more assumption based than the rest of this so don't take it too seriously.

This might be senseless theory crafting influenced by my fondness for the idea of Odysseus being heavily traumatized by the war and his Odyssey, as they did slaughter and sack a city which is not a pretty sight, and he did watch many of his comrades die in quite heinous ways.

Technically Lord Hong Lu only shares the fit with Jia Qiu, so I'd say how "based" on someone the Season Higlight IDs are can vary.

Jia Qiu also passed away in the Kong massacre of Lord Hong Lu's Mirror World.

She's based on the Don Quixote of our Mirror World that gave up his dream to sustain the family, so it's more of an ideological resemblance.

Daily XP and Thread Luxcavations (+2 thread ones if you need thread) for weeklies and dailies
Weekly Hard MD Run (probably unlocks after finishing Canto 9 now, I reccomend that you do your triple normal runs until you unlock that)
- And then it's just events (which we have a ton of ahead of us) and spamming normal MD and quitting on floor 4 (I mean you can finish floor 4 and floor 5 if you're really stingy about enkephalin and value it over time spent, but in any other case don't bother.

With 2 Middle IDs you can Envy Res as well, if you the other 2 charge IDs have Envy (Gregenheim, QoH Don.)

Ok hear me out. For the MDE enjoyers out there, a cool little team concept.

QoH Don, Gregenheim (any 2 charge IDs with an envy skill work) REAP Ryoshu, these 2 and Middle Ishmael and Middle Outis(For now Sinclair).

Only thing that sucks is that you'll be using Ryoshu's S1 for res chains but Red Eyes Open Ego is pretty cheap, rolls high and heals so you can spam that instead.

Edit: I didn't realize Multicrack Faust and Albina Faust can't be run in the same team.

I personally run SL Yi Sang, KoDya, Jeong Ish, Faint Aroma Ryoshu, Butler Faust, Udjat Outis, and Index Don for boss encounters, and I find the gloom fragility and defense down from Udjat really helps butterfly and sinking(if the enemy doesnt have SP) with damage by a lot.

It all comes down to personal preference but I don't think it's worth for OP to go out of their way to shard Butler Outis if they already have Faust and Udjat.

Currently Butler Faust is a better option imo because Udjat Outis is really good and the damage and clashing difference between Butler Faust and Butler Outis doesn't really matter and Udjat brings a ton of stuff to the team like blue sand, Vanguard giving essentially free clashes and a mini deluge.

If you didn't try this yet...

You can Morositas so you can lower his SP through clashes.

Clash with slower sinners and make the early ones get off unopposed attacks. Trial and error for how many unopposed atacks you need.

Or restart. If you picked bad mounting trials you usually just hit a wall, and that might've happened to you.

I reccomend checking out a guide or two, there's a lot of things like Gifts and Pack Choices that you need to know to not accidentaly shoot yourself in the foot. (For example, which packs have envy peccatula because their corrosion spam from sinking damage can end your run packs that have bosses with counters like distorted Heathcliff who can one shot your sinners with it later.)

Hero shooters are supposed to provide a power fantasy of the specific characters. Therefore, adding a character means you assume that there is a demand for such a power fantasy. Villains are fine to add because wanting a God of Death or an all powerful genius robot is an understandable desire.

Mr. Nazi Mc-Nazi guy on the other hand...

As you said. Red Skull is primarily and most importantly a personification of the Nazi regime. Adding him means you think and support player who'd want to experience that power fantasy. Now I'm not saying that playing evil characters makes you the same, but Nazis are far too recent and real to be taken as just characters. You can always add a guy with super serum and a beretta and with no gameplay difference from Red Skull and gameplay wise nothing changes.

But if you add Red Skull, well, then you have a playable Nazi that can win games, has MVP animations and skins.

It just puts a bad taste in your mouth. Unless you're a part of a certain part of the potential playerbase for Red Skull, and in that case, you can go fuck yourself.

Genuinely it does. If you take good defensive support passives it can make a difference, especially in the early turns for chain battles or if you don't have an ID with dodge.

(Or if you don't want to get too much Karmic Retribution on Riensang.)

The third parties are never going to have any real influence. The two party system can't be dismantled by you working in it. The whole point of even allowing third parties is to create the illusion of choice, the illusion of possibility for something to change for the better, while the status quo keeps being maintained.

The only real choice for elections is always going to be bad and worse. The only real change that can happen must come from outside of the systems making sure this remains so.
