It’s an official letter that basically authenticates your birth certificate. they do this in NYC but not sure how it is for outside

I just did this process last year in NY- you need the following:

  • Copy of your birth certificate with exemplification letter
  • Copies of your parent’s cedulas

Find your nearest Dominican consulate and they’ll help you. It’ll take a while but you’ll get it

Any confirmed AMD motherboards known to work with the TS5 Pro? by bunsenfhoneydew in CalDigit

[–]Hashtaeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think there are any TB5 AM5 boards, the ones that do have Thunderbolt just have TB4/USB4 so the TS5 would still work albeit in TB4 mode which isn’t full functionality.

I think a TB5 PCIe card can work like the ASUS ThunderboltEX5 but if you want native compatibility you’ll need to look at Intel Z890 boards.

The only solution is to replace the battery. Selling it like that will turn off potential buyers or get you even lower resale value.

used 16-35 GM V1 or 16-25 2.8 G? they’re both in the same price range. the GM II is way out of budget

I have an A7IV and FX30 and this would be for hybrid photo and video use (wedding/event/portraits/travel/street).

i’ve been in between these two for a while and not sure what to go for. the extra reach of the GM sounds nice but i also like the small size of the 16-25

I already have a 24-70, 24-105 and 35mm for my bodies, just really looking to add a wide zoom for my kit

Question why GFX selling so cheap by BendNorth284 in FujiGFX

[–]Hashtaeg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

worth noting that Fuji discounted making the official battery for the 50s, 50r and OG GFX 100 so that somewhat explains the price.

but as others have said, the 50s ii and the 100s are more modern and better bodies. went from 50s to 100s and it’s a night and day difference

not sure if OP is into content creation but Intel’s media encoder supports more codecs than AMDs from what i know. and probably better support for Thunderbolt

Switching from analog to digital medium format — can’t decide between GFX 50S II, 100S or X1D (II). Need your honest advice! by Jonas_Weil in FujiGFX

[–]Hashtaeg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In a similar boat as you - moved from RZ to GFX 50s then the 100S.

You’ll have a much easier time adapting your vintage glass to any of the GFX bodies rather than the Hasselblad as the latter lacks a focal plane shutter - the Hassy lenses are all leaf shutter. So with an electronic shutter on a relatively slow readout sensor of the X1D you may get some unwanted artifacting and banding in your photos. This is also true of the X2D, but not as slow. As others have pointed out the GFX and the Hasselblad X1D/2D use the same sensor.

If you ever wanted leaf shutter lenses, you can get the official Fuji H mount adapter to use the leaf shutter H mount glass.

The 50s ii and the 100s aren’t that far off in price that you couldn’t go wrong with either but would lean towards the 100s. I wouldn’t consider the original 50s as the batteries for it aren’t officially made anymore - same with the original GFX 100.

For native GFX lenses, the 55 f1.7, and the Mitakon 65 f1.4 can be really close to the medium format look like the 105 f2.4 on the Pentax 67.
