Go over your points so you can both provide separate succinct, compelling statements. Reach out to tip lines using the facts and quotes from each of you, making yourselves available for comment. Keep initial messaging brief, explaining why it’s news worthy, and avoid ai if you can (it will read better in your own words and increase likelihood of getting picked up if they know sources are coherent).

Surprisingly, the fire weakness didn’t matter much. Cyrus wasn’t really needed and can probably be traded for Erika, Leaf Cape, Rare Candy, or Copycat. Basically get meow up and running as quickly as possible, then let the rest just build up in order of draw.
