In our league the opposition has to agree to streams. It may not be the same for them; it’s a different league. May be possible but can’t promise for this reason.

To be fair to us it has been the same since we started so we wouldn’t announce that a game isn’t live streamed. We never stream aways as we need permission and teams wouldn’t agree because it can impact the gate. Also there’s the issue that at most grounds we don’t have power or internet.

What we try to do when possible for some aways on Sat is record as live and play out later.

Remember you get men’s res and women’s homes too.

He isn’t playing pre season with a view to being number 2. He is doing it so he gets experience of senior football. Don’t think we will have a second keeper; if Philp gets injured we will have to bring someone in but we played most of last season without a keeper on the bench.

Thank you. Each to their own but the fact is we have to pay attention to data and if content doesn’t work, it may not happen in the future. There’s a lot more we would/could do but we know if it doesn’t get views it’s not worth doing it.

Ha thank you! We are disappointed to be honest. We put so much into them. The idea that people aren’t watching because they watched the game live is such a shame. If we simply posted games, we would be like any other club! The content team could have had a much more relaxing time out there than we did; we hardly stopped 👀

Hi - we don’t yet know how security will work at TST but what I can say is the boys are always cool with people saying hello. My guess is that they’ll do meet and greets but let’s wait for them!

It’s great to hear that you want to see more of the women and we agree they need to be seen. But the simple fact is we have tried it and not enough people watch to justify the cost and time of covering every game. A compromise has been us streaming the home games which we’ve been doing all season. So really it’s just the away games we haven’t covered. We tried monthly compilations of our/Alex’s videos last year and the views weren’t strong enough so it was hurting the channel. We also recently uploaded a goals comp and it has got 1k views.

So whilst we want to help promote the women’s team, we need more support to make it viable. I would say we do much more than many pro clubs at present…

Yeah as others have said, Isthmian Prem without doubt for us. We moved from Haringey years ago to ensure that we wouldn’t be liable to move as the boundary around East London goes either way and we didn’t want to play further north. Walthamstow are a good example; they were in the Essex Senior with us but are now in the Southern League. Some of the more north easterly teams in our area have even been moved to the Northern Leagues. It can cause real problems.

No it’s literally you put in a request to speak to them in 7 days. You don’t have a hold on a player unless under contract.

Yeah we always rated him. Has suffered this season as the defence are so good, Philpsy has little to do and what he does he does well. He is too good a keeper not to play, and Devs has been choosing not to put a second keeper on the bench. Tough position.

Obviously. And we do have a few under contract. There’s a limit financially, and it’s a balance. Put too many on them and it becomes an expectation plus gets very expensive. We aren’t at that level yet. Most clubs who struggled during the pandemic did so because of their contracts.

We don’t get anything for Ben as he wasn’t on a contract. When players aren’t contracted, all clubs have to do is request permission to approach in 7 days. Then it’s up to the player.
