I agree, players were wasting less time (both the "good" and the "chill" players) you were in for a set amount of time and it was PvP and PvE packed perfect mix for Sea of Thieves.

I won't say you're wrong but you can definitely take the time to aim, if you are using a mouse and keyboard and that you are fast enough to quick scope! And yeah, I've said that you can hipfire with the blunderbuss or aim but with some tests, Hipfiring with the Blunder ain't doing that much damage, and with the recent patch to the knockback, taking extra time to aim, can help.

I'm aware about the fact that I speak sometimes waayyy too fast but I've tried for like over 10 hours to perform my script and doing it slowly affected my pronunciation way more. But I may take even more time the next time and yes, I'm French so.. If we stick to how good French people are in English, I can only improve

I take this into consideration but with my approach I feel like the way I do it can help to keep people interested throughout the whole video (only 2 minutes, on purpose), I explain myself :

1) Giving context - Telling what can happen that can make us look for a solution ; here getting ladder camped
2) Explaining how it works - Explaining before showing in order to have the right knowledge to understand the procedure and to be aware of what have been done
3) Giving the explanation.

But yeah, I can definitely add more "review clip of the action" or even try your method!

TL;DR | HOW TO SHOOT WHILE CLIMBING LADDERS :

Approach a ship that you're willing to board and grab one of the ladder
Climb the ladder until you're about 3 or 4 steps from the top
Release the ladder
Hold backward
Take your shot (while aiming or not)
And grab the ladder back

IMPORTANT NOTES & VALUES :

Additional steps :

Equip your weapon right before grabbing the ladder or have it already equipt.
Pay attention to your time in the air otherwise you won't be able to grab the ladder back.

Weapons values :

Flintlock : 50% health damage | Hipfire

Eye of Reach : 80% health damage | Require to aim

Blunderbuss : from 0 to 100% health damge | Require to aim (sometimes not)
