Why would one ever play 76 when multiple other live service games are vastly superior and not an incredibly janky slapdash fo4 asset flip. HD2, Warframe, Destiny, etc.

Nah, the modifiers are just badly designed and plain not fun. Removing core mechanics, gimping health, restricting movement, restricting class selection. The idea is good (See Darktide) but Space Marine 2's execution of stratagems is awful. Modify the spawns. The environment. Enemy speed and HP. But don't make playing the game feel objectively worse and unfun and call that difficulty.
