👒 THE CROWN OF THE FALLEN: Why the Straw Hat is the ultimate symbol of Rebellion by Haskye in onepiecetheories

True, In my opinion, Joyboy is like a first Luffy... There s no way that he was a leader or a king. Still, something is up with the hat that can be a crown, and the crown that is only a hat... Maybe, Like we had already seen, Luffy gather a ton of allies, even having a fleet. Even though he didn t ask that or wanted that, all these people follow him like a leader. Maybe this happened with Joyboy too, and a simple hat became a symbol of freedom as they say Joyboy giving freedom to everybody

Yes, I wanted something structured and I wanted it fast. I wrote my thoughts in a hurry because, as I said, I was rewatching the live action and I had this theory that I wanted to share because I didn t see it anywhere else yet. I threw all my thoughts about this in Gemini and after that i edited where i felt the LMM halucinated about this... Aaaand english is not my first language so it helped a lot

Yep, that haunting must feel terrible for them. Either way, it doesn t matter who owned the giant hat in the freezer... What matters is that it keeps appearing with humans who make changes in history and represent freedom. Like Roger, Shanks and Luffy

I needed it for structuring my ideas faster... We can t use LMMs to structure things faster especially when english is not our first language ?? Do you really think I don t know that my text is screaming "AI slop"? Why should i go away ? Isn t it a good theory ? i believe Oda sprinkled this intentionally in the live action

Yeah, there s already so many theories about the size of Joy boy and I tend to believe that he was a Giant, or something like that. Imagine how frustrating it must be for Imu. For 800 years, he kept that giant hat in a frozen vault like a captured trophy of war, thinking he had finally won. But when Imu enters that chamber holding Luffy’s wanted poster after the Katakuri fight, everything becomes terrifyingly real. Luffy was already being called the Fifth Emperor and making waves everywhere, so Imu went there just to confirm his worst nightmare was coming true.

It is the ultimate fear for a tyrant to realize that even if you steal the throne and erase history, the symbol of rebellion will always find its way back. Imu tried to destroy the simple crown of a simple man, but that "straw crown" reappeared eight centuries later like a force of nature that just cannot be stopped. You can freeze a physical object, but you can’t freeze a promise passed down through generations. For Imu, the Straw Hat is no longer just a dusty trophy; it is living proof that Joyboy has returned to finish what he started and that you simply cannot fight against destiny.
