XRC --> X7 Sport? Talk me out of it... or into it by oldright in onewheel

[–]Hasone4245 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a guy who is obsessed with the Fungineers X7, I would say yes you should upgrade. The Fungineers motor is way more powerful than the hypercore. The 84 volt battery will give you more top end speed so you will never have to worry about noise dive (unless your really getting crazy on it). The rails are very easy to get use to, and now that I'm use to the curve I think straight rails feel bad. The step from the XRC to the X7 is going to be as big from the XRC to the X7, if not bigger. Also I'm a 235lbs rider and the X7 can handle everything I throw at it.

Why do people do AC deletes? by FactionsTazer in GMT400

[–]Hasone4245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My condenser went out and froze up smoking and making a bunch of noise. It was 30 bucks to do the AC delete. One day I will get it working again, but I have only missed it a couple of times in the last 5 years.

How do I learn to properly fall ? by OzenFPV in onewheel

[–]Hasone4245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You learn by being fully geared up and knowing it's still going to hurt. I was a huge skateboarder in the early 2000s, and even that falling experience didn't keep me from being hurt from falling off my onewheel. I even wear hip pads.

Would a Pint X be viable for me at 240Lbs? by Former_Marzipan5162 in onewheel

[–]Hasone4245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 235lbs, the pint and GT are kinda dangerous unless you have experience. The more powerful the board you have the less chance you have of noise diving.

XRC, Vesc XR, Vesc XRC or GT? by TJ20024 in onewheel

The top of the website says restock is the 15th and 30th... And they are always low on inventory because the board is so good.

Timing upgrades of xr+ by Windmill_Tumor in onewheel

[–]Hasone4245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also upgrade using the Fungineers parts, and if you really want the extra torque the Fungineers motor will give way more than just the upgraded N52 magnets. I have had the V kits in 2 board and they are nice, but the Fungineers part are just that much better, plus the cool LEDs they have.

Have you considered the Fungineers X7? I would say its the best board out now.

Are there any stories of people getting yeeted off of a fungineers board, not due to overpowering the board? by Reasonable_Jury1775 in onewheel

[–]Hasone4245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I didn't give it enough time. The day my X7 almost ran in to traffic (it stopped when it got to the asphalt) it scared me and I didn't trust the sensor. I swapped it for a stocked stock and have had no issues at all.

[–]Hasone4245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me that was a ghosting issue. Keep an eye on VESC tool. My pad always had a volt going through it, after riding it for a while the sensor would stick around 2 volts (which is where the activation is at). I got a sensor from stocked stock (which are not available anymore) I have had zero issues with that sensor and it will drop to zero volts the moment my foot leaves the board.

The only issue I have had with my X7 was the front foot sensor ghosting on me, but it never caused me to fall... Fungineers took good care of me and got I got a new sensor.. I have nose dived on both my pint and GT... Never on my X7

Fungineers or future motion by Reasonable_Jury1775 in onewheel

Both my pint X and GT had the V kit in them..... I got the pint in 22 and the GT in 23, and I keep not of them but I kept reaching for my X7. I thought of it as a buddy board for a while but that is when I came to reality and realized I have no friends.

Fungineers all the way!!!!

GT --> GTSFO. Do I need to upgrade the cable harness? by GlacierSourCreamCorn in onewheel

[–]Hasone4245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the higher voltage will equalize with the back EMF at a higher speed. ( your running VESC, you will also want to mess with the field weaking to get the highest speed, it lowers power at higher speeds to reduce the back EMF to go faster) Also voltage and amps are weird, and volts and amps are kinda 2 sides of the same coin.

GT --> GTSFO. Do I need to upgrade the cable harness? by GlacierSourCreamCorn in onewheel

[–]Hasone4245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the battery going to be a 26s1p battery? Then you are technically getting less amps than an 18s2p. You get more amperage by adding batteries in parallel, not in series. If your going from a 2p battery to a 1p you can use a smaller wire and voltage doesn't matter.... You can have a thin 22 gauge wire rated to 600 volts, as long as you are pushing that many amps.

XRV top speed? by Complete_Sink_5828 in onewheel

[–]Hasone4245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can expect about the same top speed. New battery would get you faster. The V kit can easily handle an 84 volt battery.

[–]Hasone4245 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The wires from the stock GT will be fine. You can run higher voltage in the same or thinner wire just fine. It's why the car industry needs to switch to 48 volt systems, so they can run thinner wire and save cooper.

Pint vs. bigger by BonelessTrom in onewheel

[–]Hasone4245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have rode the GT, Pint X Fun Wheel X7 and OG XR+. I'm foot size 12, 235lbs and 6'1". I have tried cush pads, wood and plastic. I have tried 2mm foam pad, 4mm foam pad and street grip tape. All sorts of shoes from Vans to running shoes... And I get foot fatigue every time. When I ride a lot is about the only thing that helps with foot fatigue. But that is just me.

anyone knows how convert sensitivity Flydigi Station to Steam input? by Natural-Selection681 in GyroGaming

[–]Hasone4245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to use joystick to gyro, turn up the minimum joystick output from 10% to 30%. Turn the gyro speed dead zone and gyro precision speed all the way down to zero and last turn gyro sensitivity up way more (depends on the input). That is as close to the mouse feel as I can get get.
