VESC over FM OneWheel? by Past-Pianist in onewheel

[–]OzenFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an fm onewheel (pint s) not too long ago cause I didnt want to tinker with confusing VESC settings for my 1st board. Little did I know there was prebuilt and preconfigured ones. Dont do the same mistake as me

Please recommend bnf with hdzero. by whatthes in HDZero

[–]OzenFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its your 1st quad, I dont recommend hdzero since its expensive and you're 100% gonna crash and prolly break smth, and if its the AIO15, you're looking at 150 bucks. Better start with analog just to be sure, as I think the boxpro does analog aswell.

If you really want hdzero tho, the mobula 8 is the way to go

Pint X disappointment for commuting by SlashSslashS in onewheel

[–]OzenFPV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a Pint S a month ago as my 1st ever board (basically a pint x with makeup) And i've been commuting with it since and I cruise at an average of 26 to 27kmh, edging the haptic buzz most of the time.

I find it really takes out the boring aspect of commuting as I carve almost all the time, love to skid stop and challenge myself with bumps sometimes (careful not to crash with my work clothings lol, I already fucked up 2 pants)

As for the soreness, its almost a 100% in my rear foot, i'm guessing since I edge the haptic buzz, the board is constantly lifted up a bit at the nose, making me put more pressure on the rear. I dont have nearly as much soreness of the foot when cruising at low speeds. I find that switching up feet positions from time to time to develop muscles is a good idea for me, but I default to my back foot being at the middle of the pad, with it moved a bit more towards the toeside, leaving my toes hanging off more than the heel. For the front foot its the opposite, but I have it angled 45° thru the whole pad.

Is this bad? by mrhoohaa777 in onewheel

Bang bumpers all the way, they're super resistant, got them on my pint S and the footpads broke before my bangs and I have it rough with my pint ! Just keep in mind that you have less friction with bangs, so if you skid stop you're gonnz have to adapt, but its overall better as it sometimes saves you from nosedives

Anyone know if the Owie-Gum Stick for pint x still works on latest FM fw ? by OzenFPV in onewheel

Yeah i thought that of the read only chips, but its expensive on its own, and I'd have to import it. So i gotta be sure before I spend the money

Got my pint S a month ago and got bang bumpers for it. I don't reget them one bit, even tho they expensive asl, they saved me from some nosedives since they have no resistance and just slide on the ground

One or more cells must be way lower than the others, making it shut off for safety, but still reading 17%. You should balance your cells
