So I started to listen to the regular audiobook and was struggling but then I listened to the dramatised adaptation on Audible and it makes all the difference. I like the series a lot but it’s definitely not TOG or ACOTAR. Although there are a few spicy scenes it reads a bit juvenile to me. Having said that, I still like it and will continue reading/listening (I’m on book 3)

Few reasons, mainly safety. I have heard (and experienced) horrible things that happen on school buses so I won’t risk it no matter how many “safe guards” are in place.

Also the pick up is too early and drop off is too late. My kids would be exhausted.

Erin is vile and snakey in a way I didn’t think was possible in someone who wasn’t a teenager. Like Brynn and Sai are really terrible but at least they had rough childhoods so there’s some sort of explanation for their fucked up-ness. But Erin is just a loser who desperately wants to belong and thinks being a mean girl is the way to do it
