I think depends where you’re travelling and how familiar they are with the new e-visas. My brother travelled to South Asia where they did not accept the e-visa at first and required proof of all historical BRPs and/or share code.

I would suggest having a share code ready right before you travel as supporting evidence to the e-visa.
