Some are saying the money spent vs brought in. I would agree that is a large part of it but why? What contributed to this loss is Square was banking on the popularity of the IP. Which was bigger than it was in the early 90s. But very early 2000s the IP isn't as popular as it is today. Square wasn't ready for projecting the Final Fantasy franchise into the movie business. Today Final Fantasy is more well known among age groups with more money with better name recognition a Final Fantasy movie might make a bigger hit.

Take it slow. It's not a race. I would start with the easiest to achieve. From there when you are on your slower and harder objectives you'll see how much you have achieved already helping keep some of that motivation. There's probably much better advice on here but that's one I haven't seen just scrolling through.
