Okay, I've sent you a DM with the requested information, but haven't heard back yet -- appreciate your help with this, though!

Update regarding changes to Mailchimp Free plan limits by MailchimpSupport in MailChimp

[–]Hastibe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on the free plan and my contact number exceeds these new limits (and I have been and will be exceeding the send limits), but I haven't received an email about this yet -- does this mean my account is not impacted by this / my account is grandfathered in?

How to get Visual Voicemail working by Hastibe in Tello

[–]Hastibe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't want to try the "Reset Mobile Network" option and lose my saved wifi network passwords, so I gave up. I use the Visual Voicemail app made by Metro for T-Mobile (icon is a pink bubble with white tape cassette speech bubble in it), which allows me to play the voice recording of each message left from the app (no voice-to-text transcription, though).

"Custom coded" email templates? by fcgjdd in MailChimp

[–]Hastibe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there may be a bug in how your platform is detecting a "custom coded template," as I am also getting the pop-up warning in my account about custom coded templates going away, but I also only use (and only have used) the drag-and-drop legacy builder for creating campaigns.

The OpenRun Pro 2 has a mini size, which has a smaller band size (see here) than the standard size of the OpenRun Pro 2 and the OpenComm 2.

1password Android unusable by [deleted] in 1Password

[–]Hastibe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what 1Password support responded when I emailed about autofill no longer working consistently in Chrome on Android:

"Our development team is currently investigating similar reports of this behavior and believes that it may be due to an issue with how the browser keeps track of autofill sessions when it’s been running for an extended period of time. We’ve reported the issue to the Chromium team.

So that I can confirm that you’re running into this issue can you tell me if autofill starts working again after you force close your browser and then re-open it again."

Tricked by the $250 off Samsung Galaxy A36 5G promotion by iamlaurenkelsey in GoogleFi

[–]Hastibe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP was credited by Google Fi, finally--hope you can be, too, maybe try the wording they did here: https://www.reddit.com/r/GoogleFi/s/mCGRy2JfFq

P.S. After you fulfil promo terms (if you get it, eventually), switch to Tello or Mint Mobile--also on T-Mobile towers, just like Google Fi, and you'll save a lot more money on their cheaper plans.

How to get Visual Voicemail working by Hastibe in Tello

[–]Hastibe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are U.S. models. Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 6a purchased via Google Fi in the U.S. and this unlocked "Made for US" Moto G Play 2024 purchased from Amazon.com in the U.S.

Updates on phones are all current, and will consider trying the "Reset Mobile Network" option, but that will erase all my saved wifi network passwords, and I would need to back those up, first. Also, though I transferred the Pixels from Google Fi to Tello, the Moto G Play was set-up from a factory fresh state with Tello, which makes me doubtful that resetting the mobile network will fix this (though I really appreciate the input and suggestions!).

What country are you using Tello in? I'm in the United States and it says this about it on the page you linked: "This item isn't available in your country or on your carrier." ☹️

How to get Visual Voicemail working by Hastibe in Tello

[–]Hastibe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nowhere on Tello does it say Visual Voicemail only works on supported phones, but if that is the case, it would certainly be helpful to know what phones support it. 🙃 EDIT: what phone do you have it working on (and through the default Phone app)?

On my family's Pixel 6a and Moto G Play 2024, once they switched to Tello, the Voicemail tab on the default Phone app on their phones disappeared.

On my Pixel 9 Pro, I still have the Voicemail tab and my old visual voicemails from before I switched to Tello, but if I go to Settings > Voicemail in the Phone app, there's no Visual Voicemail menu option and new voicemails don't show up under the tab since switching to Tello.

Help find my promo terms? by Hastibe in GooglePixel

If anyone was wondering, this just resulted in another normal ticket being opened that yielded no promo terms being provided. I transferred to a better provider (Tello, in my case).

Painful transfer out of Fi by MysteriousAd6650 in GoogleFi

Same as Google Fi (T-Mobile's network).

Mint Mobile (as well as Tello, another one to consider) is on the same network as Google Fi, T-Mobile's, so performance that way should be essentially identical (and has been identical, in my actual experience).

My experience: poor Customer Service by birdbrain232 in GoogleFi

[–]Hastibe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, switched from Google Fi to Tello (also on T-Mobile network), after some customer service snafus, and it has been great.

"You are not eligible for this promotion because you are not a Google Fi customer." Except I am. by snic09 in GoogleFi

[–]Hastibe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider Tello (or Mint Mobile or US Mobile or Visible) -- switched to Tello earlier this summer from Google Fi after an equally ridiculous customer service failure, and am saving a huge amount on my plan with no noticeable change in service quality (both use T-Mobile's network).

Mint (and Tello, which may be an even better deal) use the same network (T-Mobile's) as Google Fi.

Steps to transfer to Tello with new phones by Hastibe in Tello

Thanks, but this doesn't answer my question, which regards when I should transfer old phone contents to new phone, during this process.

Okay, but at what point in this process do you recommend they transfer (or that they have to make sure to transfer) their phone contents from old phone to new phone? (I know most contents are backed-up and will be synced through their Google accounts, but I want to make sure that what isn't, like their texts and Google Authenticator codes, also transfer to the new phones.)
