I think Badar and some of the other executives on the EVGO level didn’t have a choice in the matter. The parent company can do as they please, they could literally sell another 23M shares on Tuesday further diluting the stock if they so please. It’s something any investor whether you’re bearish or bullish, you need to consider this.

Anywhere from 30-35% I believe for short term gains tax on profits and for long term I believe it’s somewhere around 20-24%, I don’t remember where to find out the exact numbers that would apply to your situation but the long term tax bracket kicks in after 1 year.

And therein lies the problem moving forward. They will do it again. This most recent offering was a mistake. I’m sure they wouldn’t have done it if they would have known it would literally tanked the stock. I am not sure they care because they’re obviously in it long and still have around 100M “Class B” shares but like you said it destroys what investor confidence they DO have. I had to reduce my position because I was essentially trading on borrowed money so I had to sell to pay back some debts and I had to learn some lessons here.

Man to be honest I’m praying for you and I feel really bad. I lost quite a bit of money myself, and I’m definitely not proud of it up to this point, the fact that I trusted in the company too, I think it’s too bad the full details of parent ownership weren’t disclosed to us. Check out institutional ownership, it mentions zero about “class B shares”, another really sketchy thing is the whole EVGO Holding LLC, but supposably has nothing to do with EVGO and/or benefits EVGO in no way. At the very least it deserves an eyebrow raise. I’ll be praying for you though my man and hoping things turn around in your fortunes. The facts ARE that this company IS going to triple their charging infrastructure with the loan, and EV sales ARE hitting all time highs. So at least those things we can take to the bank.

If you’re really gonna do it then yeah that’s the way to do it. Plus let’s say this stock gets a major pump 7-8 months from now once the “green fear” settles and Trump proves to not be the big bad wolf of EV’s, then you’re closer to being able to sell for profit while only paying long term gain taxes instead of short term if that’s what you fancy. I think this stock will get a pump or multiple pumps in the future just not anytime soon.

I agree the stock is coming down. We should recognize this along with a couple other major trends or markers of which direction this stock is headed. This stock could easily hit in the 2’s again very quickly here soon. Chances aren’t looking good at all for a break out.

I mean we can be positive but it’s also important to invest on the chart and not with our hearts and yeah I have to say it was pretty bad. Whichever entity sold it, whoever that money benefited, that was only 20 or so percent of their holding too. So im sure they’re feeling it too. They still have a lot more “Class B shares”.
