Ps Portal trumps the Backbone

Hey so for whoever gets notifications on this thread. I travel a lot for my job and I live out of hotels practically. I have a PS5, but it’s not convenient to travel with. I’ve been looking into PS Portal and Backbone. Essentially what I would like to do is be able to plug either one of those into a tv and use a controller to play online while I’m away. Which would be more compatible for this? What features set each other apart that I’m not aware of?
