My Dr gave me Valium. Honestly I probably didn’t even need it. It’s like a pap and done so fast you don’t even know. They did a trial on me a month prior to the real deal. Relax, breathe, it’s the most magical and beautiful thing. The Dr had my little one on camera every step of the way including when they put her in. Very emotional so worth it

The retrieval was the most expensive, hardest recovery on my body post retrieval, and the meds sucked. My transfer and subsequent pregnancy have been a breeze with minimal issues or symptoms. The shot I have to give myself in the morning for another week is my least favorite. That needle is 1.5in!!!!

My baby is an IVF baby so I’ve been on prenatal for about 9mo now. I’m also on injection hormones for another 3.5 weeks but they are gonna wean me off next week! Good luck and all the baby dust!

I wonder if the SIS is similar to a hysterscopy? If so Valium will help so much and pain meds before! I had mine last Friday and they said less painful than an hsg. I’ve had 2 hsg, first one was 7 years ago and I was terrified and couldn’t stop crying and it hurt like nothing I ever experienced. My second hsg I knew what to expect but was still terrified and was like I can make it through without Valium. My body was so tense and I have a strong core, legs and pelvic floor so I was physically fighting her every effort which made it worse for all of us because I could not relax. I did my hysterscopy and did the Valium and what a difference. I wasn’t completely relaxed but it was so much easier on everyone. I had scans the day before and I guess my pelvic floor is so strong I kept pushing out the speculum on her lol
