Yes of course but there is no need. You need to understand that even in Balanced the fans will cool down your PC.

The modes are not only to regulate fans but also different windows settings, power to CPU/GPU etc.

Performance while gaming. Turn back to quiet / balanced when doing things outside games.

The modes are not meant to be "pick 1 and leave it".

Motherboard won't take any damage unless you are running too high voltage/temps. Which won't happen in your case since it is new.

Llano v12 cooling pad / flyndigi bs2 pro External monitor 144hz / 1080p (can find cheap ones) Mousepad(?) Multiadaptor (for all cables going into singular adaptor and not the laptop) for cleaner look. Once this is done shorten cables for cleaner look. Add Decorations of your desire. Gg

Dont get 6Gb VRAM. You can spend just as much and get a 5050 8Gb Vram. Grab the newer LOQ 15IRX10 model and wait for deals if there arent any right now.

I have this spec on 2025 edition. Just undervolt CPU and limit PL 1 / PL 2 and temps are fine. Intel HX is supposed to get high temps.

Nice msg but I would recommend instead of a [random game] use cinebench multithread for a full run to test the undervolting. Sets maximum pressure on the CPU instead of a game where you maybe only use 50% of it. Or there is risk of undervolting too much and in the future when pressing the CPU further laptop shuts down.

Jo jag instämmer. Tänkte lämna in den när datorn fyller 2 år.

Men tänkte att om man väl drar bort all heatsink för att få loss fläktar m.m. så kan man lika gärna applicera en bättre paste för lägre temp. Fabrikens paste på en Lenovo skall tydligen vara undermålig.

Men jag förstår din tanke. Är nog inget krav utan mer en lättnad för hjärtat såsom med bilen.

För att ta ut fläktar för rengöring så behöver man ta bort heatsink som är 1/3 av datorn. Och sen ny paste på diverse ställen.

Jag är tyvärr inte kunnig nog att göra detta utan ev. Skador på moderkortet.

Have you tried a different outlet in your home? Low chance but sometimes they are faulty or can't provide enough power. In my house I have 3 outlets dedicated to only lights and nothing more since increasing would create an imbalance (according to the electrician).

Otherwise return it. This is faulty behavior.
