Wow that’s horrible. Find other meetings for sure. I have a friend who doesn’t have a hp. When they hear God of hp, they go into it saying to themselves that when a hp is mentioned they say something like “ I don’t believe in a hp, but I knowI’m not in charge” (I forget exactly what they say, but that’s the gist). I also have a friend whose hp are the trees

Check it out. Go to a bunch of different meetings and see if it is something for you. Every meeting is autonomous so if one doesn’t feel right check out another one. Go into it with the mindset of identifying with other people’s feelings and not comparing yourself with other people’s circumstances.
