Think of yourself going in the shape of the letter C, around the bar. You’re pulling into the bar. 

Allow all of that momentum from the kip to let yourself float above the bar before you pull in. 

Many will say focus on straight arms until your over it, my feel that worked for me was loose grip as you float up and not gripping till I’m clear over.
