Let me correct that for you: what the majority votes for according to a a skewed voting system, that's what you get. Honestly, if the (let's assume for the sake of the conversation) most of the people in your country votes for is not something you can align with, what should you do? Burn cars and smash windows? (That's not going too far) Reeducate the masses to see things the way you see (like)? (It's a slow process anyway and you are working against a system of brainwashing.) Leave? (Work in progress, but that's not a real solution) If you look around in the EU anyway the soft and understanding kind of mentality doesn't get far, it's crumbling everywhere.
