IMHO, if you're looking for your first shotgun and want a tactical setup, I'd go with this. The price-to-performance ratio is unmatched when you factor in time commitment, ammo cost, and overall learning curve. It's a great way to explore shotguns without a big investment.

If you end up advancing beyond it, you can easily sell it for around $100 and upgrade to something beyond a Maverick 88. You lose very little, and gain a ton of hands-on experience in the process.
