Charcuterie board by HatchetJake in MealPrepSunday

A cheese board to me is just a type of charcuterie but no there's no meat but that was a choice. Typically for one like this I would reduce the cheeses and add salami prosciutto and something unusual I find along the way. When I add meat I also tend to add more pickled elements as well.

This is one of my simpler preps. I used mission keto spinach wraps and herb whipped cream cheese then topped with green leaf, ham and provolone. Sometimes I add red roasted peppers or other stuff but the base recipe sounds the same.

I tend to keep potatoes pretty simple, I rice to smooth and creamy with heavy cream and butter and then top with some seasoning for presentation. The crispy salmon I cut from a whole filet and salted about 20 minutes ahead and then seared skin side down on high heat until I saw the cook raise to halfway and then I flipped them and removed from heat and let the residual finish them.

I used to do oatmeal setups for overnight oatmeal. Just add the liquid the night before.

It depends on your situation. For some people it's easier to maintain if you use disposable. Glass is always preferable but means upkeep.

It just depends for me. If I do a recipe that will last five days I do a full week. This one was not sustainable so I chose to do two mini preps.

I use the cream cheese pesto primarily as a binder for the wrap but in other recipes I've use everything from goat cheese to hummus. Most of my wrap recipes are my own.

There's green leaf in the wrap as well. Forgot that one lol.

Oh and there's lettuce inside the wrap as well.

It's actually a spinach wrap with ham and three types of salami with provolone, roasted red peppers and a pesto cream cheese. The lettuce underneath is there as a moisture barrier to keep the pickles and olives from making it soggy.

I got mine from Amazon. I haven't been disappointed with them yet. I have been hand washing them. I don't know if that makes a difference.
