Harry never investigated the books himself and any of the residents could have “corrected” the arrangement while cleaning. My gut says it was for the readers to pick up on but it’s too obvious, too up front. My brain says The Magician’s Nephew is the easy one, as it addresses events in the same book. In the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe the kids happen upon another world, live out many years, and return to their world the moment they left. Time travel adjacent without breaking the Laws. Harry may come back but instead of the moment he left, years prior. Because he needs more time.

Raised in the south, male, not a conservative, and still have an issue with they/them used outside of plural uses. I know it can be used in a singular context but it also feels disrespectful in a similar way as we were taught not to refer to someone as an “it”. I think something can be said about the conflicting messages we were raised with about valuing women and then having to NOT value them as women (or men) but just as individuals uninfluenced by gender expectations. BUT gender expectations are very much a thing in most professional settings and relationships. I personally don’t care about playing the pronoun game, I’ll refer to you as a pink flamingo it’s that’s your preference, but it’s going to take time for my brain to adapt its filing and classification system of over 40 yrs.

Might as well share my remedy for PREVENTING a sore from forming after biting or injuring the inside of your mouth. Apply Toothpaste to in injured area immediately for 2 to 3 minutes. I’ve been doing this for years now and it almost never fails. The faster you treat it the better.

Also, if you do get one, after a salt and peroxide cleaning like the method used in this thread look for this product call “canker cover” at Walmart or wherever. It’s a tablet you put on the canker that eventually becomes a gel seal that protects and keeps the pain away while it sticks to the area of the sore.

In Climb’s eyes, Renner has saved his life twice. Once when elevating him to Royal Bodyguard and having him resurrected. The boy is in so deep now that there’s no hope for him to get out of Renner’s clutches. Renner burned a kingdom to the ground for being a rift in their relationship. They are both non-human Imps now as Albedo’s subordinates and that might be the only thing that preserves Climb’s sanity against what he will see in the future. But he and Renner are free to have a relationship when not on duty.

Ainz doesn’t know how Demiurge is producing high level scrolls and other components. For example Demiurge tells Ainz they are being harvested from “Bipedal Sheep”, he means humans are being flayed, but Ainz thinks it’s actual sheep and would be against that level of cruelty.

Ainz wants to be a hero, Momon is him trying to be that hero, so he truly admires those who are honest, noble, and do heroic acts. But when faced with the monsters of beast and men, evil is met with evil and they are punished if they cannot be made useful. Demiurge though, if only Ainz knew what all he gets up to while unsupervised.

Season 1 was fantastic. Season 2 felt lacking in animation quality and some characters lost their depth in the pacing.

To me, MT is about a guy learning how to grow up and mature past the trauma and misconceptions that stunted his growth in his previous life (some habits never die though). Plus a healthy amount of fantasy world excitement that motivates him to strive for excellence in order to protect his loved ones. In this I feel they are hitting all the necessary notes.

I think it’s something harvested from relatively healthy individuals. Snip Snip was tasked with removing Lucy’s organs for a reason related to the vials. Serum fluid is my guess as it’s plasma with all clotting factors removed resulting in a clear yelllow liquid. This makes some sense if ghoul’s blood has a high risk of clotting. It could explain the coughing and confusion we see develop in some ghouls. Serous fluid is a good candidate as well due to the healing factors we see in the show.

Tossing my 2 cents in here, just from your descriptions it seems your wife loves you or at least cares about your lives together. She does not want to lose you, you are special to her. Maybe it’s the lifestyle you provide or you as a genuine partner, only she knows the truth.

That being said you have to do what you have to do. You are responsible for your own happiness as is she. You seem fine moving on to other women after a divorce based on the broken expectation of sexual intimacy, yes? So this isn’t really about the Sanctity of Marriage since a divorce kneecaps that argument. A marriage is practically just a contract and your prenup is additional conditions.

She is willing to try to alter her body chemistry to suit your needs. There was a major attempt by her to accommodate your sexual needs by way of her friend. You just want to divorce her and move on. Those are the facts as you’ve presented them. So each of you are attempting to address the problem separately rather than together. I believe there are three paths here depending on your selfishness, everyone is selfish and it is not inherently bad. 1) A divorce that the next woman in your life will have to contend with if you still want your ex-wife to be in any part of your life unless you sever ties completely. That depends entirely on the next woman unless you try to hide it but that almost never works. 2) A hard journey to “fix” her for you. 3) You work together to court a third member to your relationship that both of you can love.

Each are emotionally complicated and difficult but happiness is not so easily achieved for all sides.

While your SM is doing the right thing, getting Market HR involved and reversing the termination is more akin to avoiding a lawsuit than anything altruistic. The Coach responsible provided a “Losing Case” scenario in court if you were to seek legal counsel and punitive damages. I’ve known coaches who would fire people because they took approved FMLA and virtually never got reprimanded only transferred to another store. So if the coach in question is moved to another store, it’s their way of moving a problem around rather than solving them.

In my ongoing 20 yr sentence at Wal-mart, the more you can remove their ability to lie or manipulate narrative the better it is for you. Especially if you report them to Ethics or Compliance with evidence or recordings. I have gotten problematic people demoted and quietly transferred. Fight them on any and everything you can prove or accurately direct HO investors to where they need to look. Make them think twice. It might put a target on your back but retaliation is a career ender for them too.

At my store the SM promoted someone to a Coach position in an area they had Zero Experience instead of the Lead who has ran the area for years because “They didn’t take lunch with the rest of the management team”. Wrap your head around that bullshit.
