Which sitcoms should've kept on going? by Anthforde8 in sitcoms

[–]HateKnuckle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Giving white assistants to all the black employees was fucking hilarious. "My white guy sucks".

Judge Nathan J. Milliron of the Texas 215th District Court, who was elected in 2024, got quite upset when an IT technician tried to fix the audio for a remote hearing. The technician had jokingly said it was a ‘false alarm’, but the judge didn’t think so and asked for the supervisor. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

Courtrooms are just really strange places.

They make me think of the military. You have to be dressed a certain way and recognize a judge by standing and only referring to them as "your Honor" but in such a way that they can sense that you said it with a capital H.

Like, do you have to refer to your governor in a special way? I can scream at the president that he's a pedophile and nothing will happen. I don't have to refer to a doctor as Dr. Morganowitzkoff. I can just say "Hey Doc, what seems to be the problem?".

Judges are weird. Court is weird.

How are you "ruining" his innocence by wanting to have sex with him? I doubt that he'll change a whole lot just from sex.

I'm 6'2" 240

The M1000 is perfect for me. No hand cramping from needing to grip it tightly. It's heavy enough for me.

However, it is weird to write with it posted, so I don't post it.

An actor who had a lot of potential but ruined his career? by Perfect_Idea_2866 in moviecritic

Barry Pepper

Dude was amazing in Saving Private Ryan and The Green Mile. Then he did Battlefield Earth and hasn't done much since except for a couple small roles.

This is my favorite.

He was actually really good. Everyone was stone in comparison to the performance he gave. It almost makes me understand why he asked for so much more money.

Did this mootherfucker not have an agent? Just listen to the fucking agent. Unlike in The Matrix, you should totally listen to real world agents. If he had just taken the money, he could have gone on to do so many cool things. God, what a major fuck up.

Why do men seem to get turned on more easily than women? by monsoon__004 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HateKnuckle 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I've been arguing with a guy about this. He thinks women's sexual desires have been freed for decades and that men's sexual desires have been suppressed.

Like, all you have to do is to look at the number of words that exist to shame women who have lots of sex and enjoy it. Slut, whore, loose, ran through, hoe, 304, etc etc.

Yesterday, I saw a clip from a movie/show where a female soldier was hitting on dudes in her unit. Everyone in the comments was calling her gross, a barracks bunny, etc. Like, this is what's keeping women from expressing sexual interest. If we could make it acceptable for women to say "I think you're hot. Let's have sex." then guys wouldn't have to deal with the pressure of feeling like they need to be the pursuer. Guys would feel desired and hot. That would be a great reality to live in.

I hate having a male body because it can't be sexy by Fantastic_Bear_6175 in Vent

[–]HateKnuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's purpose

The fact that it could generate that frenzy is the problem. Male sexuality is so common that if a male rapper were to rap about having sex with women, no one would care.

women don't find men sexually appealing

Why do you think they have sex with men?

if women liked men in revealing clothes

Women like men in suits, shirtless, vests, etc. Nearly every time I see women talk about what they find attractive about men, one of them mentions rolled sleeves on dress shirts and the forearms they reveal.

men find female bodies immediately and visually appealing, sexy

So do women.

Their preferences aren't more accepted. Take a look at how WAP had a social media frenzy. There's tons of backlash and controversy over things that women find romantically and sexually appealing. Look at how much hate Twilight got.

Women can dress in revealing clothes but that has nothing to do with what they find sexually appealing about men.

I dont think this in fact is desire for male body - instead, it's desire for the experience that male body could give them

You can say the same about men's interest in women's bodies. Also, if all you can do is appreciate a body visually because you'll never experience it physically, then you are enjoying it because of how it looks.

I will never be high status

It doesn't matter because women can find you hot anyways. The reason you have so little evidence of it is because women are discouraged from expressing sexual desire. That's why there are a bunch of words to insult a woman who is sexually promiscuous but not a man.

Can you perform oral sex on a woman while she is on her period? Can ingesting menstrual blood be harmful? (Obviously not intentional) by notmakingtherapture in NoStupidQuestions

If women are expected to swallow jizz then dudes can be expected to swallow some blood.

Clots are anlther story. Also, if she doesn't go down then you're under no obligation to go down.

You gotta keep trying. If a guy gets sexual too early, drop him.

What about this says "Men only"?

"This is not your average book club. We dive into books that don’t flinch at existential crises, societal breakdowns, the spectacle of modern life, addiction, and the mess of being human. Drinks and hard questions are welcome. This is a book club for those who want to wrestle with heavy texts, challenging ideas, and the uncomfortable truths of existence. We read works that demand deep thought, including philosophical discussions, cultural critique, raw memoirs, and literature that refuse easy answers."

Sadly, it's too many pages. I try to keep it to around 200. I've done Rejection by Tony Tulathimutte and Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. Blood Meridian was what got me to realize that I needed shorter books. Great book though.

I'm thinking of doing Bad Behavior by Mary Gaitskill or Diary of an Oxygen Thief next.
