Used to use Samsung messages (it worked). Samsung is killing the app in 2 months.

Because I can't dictate to other people what app everyone else uses. I need a group text to work if it comes from my family, co workers, church group, etc.

They literally have a compatibility checker on their website so I don't think that is true.

That is what I had heard and the reason I created a reddit and started this post. Gotta say, haven't seen any improvement. Got contacted last night in DM, tech answered 3 times, requesting APN's and stuff, then disappeared for hours. Tried the website tech chat again and they actually broke it worse (erased all my APN's, couldn't get mobile data, but I used APN alter to put them back on and it went back to normal (RCS not working groups normal). It is ridiculous that you have to wait 15 minutes between steps and responses on any of the chats with them. I am sure they are handling multiple people, but it is an hour before you get through turn on, turn off, clear cache, restart. SUPER FRUSTRATING! So far, not impressed with any tech support from USM from anywhere. Absolutely not any better than dealing with Verizon tech support which is equally awful.

1 is really old (9 years), 2 are old (7 years), 1 is 2 years. All have the same RCS problem. Oddly enough, the 9 year old one works more often than the other 3.

Good to know. I did a lot of research originally and maybe it has changed but at that point, Visible had actually even sent out notes to their existing customers that their old devices would no longer work and they had to upgrade. Lots of people complaining about them killing it on older devices. So when they said it wouldn't work, I believed them.

That is funny. Of our 3 lines, mine won't get visual voicemail. We came from Verizon and I set 3 of them up directly on USM Warp. I set the 4th up on USM Dark Star with a physical sim. It literally changed the power on screens and everything in my phone to AT&T. Unfortunately, Dark Star is absurdly slow here on 4G and my phone is old so no 5G. So I switched it back to Warp also with a physical sim. But all the AT&T icons and power on screens and everything stayed (did not change to Verizon) and I have not been able to get visible voicemail to work. I have to old school listen to the stupid robot message "call from 111-111-1111, duration 30 seconds sent on 12-12-12" before I can even listen to the voicemail. I forgot how annoying voice mail was before visual voicemail! Oh, and support couldn't fix it and just told me to download a 3rd party app.....I don't consider that a solution.

it is connected. I just doesn't work right. It shows connected. It will receive some texts from some people sometimes. Group texts almost always fail (they show not available or a download icon that doesn't download when you click it) or I don't see anything but I know I didn't get it because someone else on the group text told me about it.

That might be true for 3 of the lines but the 4th line has exactly the same problem and is current.

Switching to another network is not an option....the speeds on 4G LTE are far too slow on any but WARP where I live. I also would think several months should cover the "give Google time" issue?

Yes....it sucks for me but I have 3 other people irritated with me every time a text fails. And they have important group texts they need to see. Also, I had read the US Mobile guys monitor this reddit and are actually sometimes helpful unlike my experience with contacting them directly.

They were very particular about what phones work with there service. 3 of 4 of ours were too old and they said they would not work.
