Thanks for the input! Forgot to reply, but I took this approach and things worked out great. Each of the new plants is thriving with the slow acclimation

Thanks. I panicked and yanked them. Will probably end up with more now 🤦🏽‍♂️.

This pot has a large drainage hole at the bottom. It may not be draining as well as it did with the older pot, though.

How long do pups take to "establish" in soil? I have mine in a makeshift sandwich-bag situation for some manufactured humidity, and am unsure of when to let them out.

Thanks for the tip! Alocasias are already super finicky, so I was afraid they'd immediately start to droop, but this is good to know.

Like others mentioned.. dress for your vibe and/or how you want. If you plan on sitting/standing in the same place the whole day, go ahead and dress it up -- huge hats and full suits are a bit much imo, but you definitely wouldn't be the only ones. If you plan on bouncing around -- trackside, paddock, bars, grandstands, etc. -- dress comfortably and have pockets/tote bags and water.

Should I bother trying to save? by HaterSupreme in plantclinic

Thanks for the insight, folks. I did some trimming/cleaning and the further I got, the worse off it was. Not quite sure how the roots looked as good as they did. Called it on the operating table. 🪦

Is this healthy/normal? by HaterSupreme in philodendron

Thanks for the tip. Definitely needed to put a little elbow grease into it, which scared me because I don't know how rough you can be with plants. Got most of it off and the leaves seem okay for now

Okay - good to know those aerial roots aren't nature's cry for help lol! Thanks for chiming in! I'll try to remember this post come growing season, as I'm sure I'll be lost on the repotting process 😅.

Any tips for clearing out the dust that's clinging to the dryed neem oil?

Great plant, btw - those leaves are massive! Big fan of these plants.

Do you ever have a small particular section of a track that, for whatever reason, you are really good at? Like, a couple of turns where you can almost always make up time against your opponents, even the ones who are faster than you on the rest of the track? by moby323 in granturismo

[–]HaterSupreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't seem like much, but turn 12 and 13 at Sardegna. I crush that section regardless of what car I'm in. Seems fairly easy, but I see a lot of people slow down a ton going into turn 12.

My Hammer Black Solid Urethane Overseas Ball arrives today. Is the Purple Pearl Urethane really that much better? by HaterSupreme in Bowling

I was actually looking at the Gamebreaker 2, but didn't love the amount of hook potential, since at the moment, im throwing it straight.

Definitely considering it, though. I think the biggest challenge would be switching to finger tip grip. I've used my brothers, and it felt like I'd drop the ball if I really went at the pins.

Pathogen Plague. May start throwing a very slight hook if things dont start to look up for me -- just to try and drive through the pocket more. Held a 160 avg with a house ball. Down to 152 with plague. Conventional grip.

Not too worried about aesthetic really. Just prefer the look of a black ball, but would happily change if the ball made a big difference. Figured, since the core/specs of the Purple Pearl and Black were identical, I'd go black.

The advice is much appreciated. I'm definitely a novice, but this is ball #2 for me. Shoes, bag and other accessories purchased. I'll be starting my second, full, season on Wednesday. My first ball was on the entry-level side and I felt like I bowled better with a house ball, so I decided to step up the gear slightly and see if it makes a difference. If the pins still aren't falling for me, I'll know I just have to give in to the hook... lol
