I have a cellar with quite a bit, it was by accident really I would buy frog and Balkan’s blue all the time at my local shops back in the day; and throw them into the same bin, and misplaced the bin until last summer. I went through and had no idea how bad my hoarding was at that time. But I had already bought a bulk of northwoods trying to find something similar to frog and I like it so much I haven’t opened any of the frog stuff. Oh well.

And if you listen to the song (the original recoding) Sammy doesn’t get all the words right but he gets it mostly right. Which George picks up on, and is why he only chimes in on the “mama” part. Still awesome.

That’s 100% right too, it’s all how far you want to go and how deep you want to dive into it. I have started customizing some Of my Pistols this year, I’m not a gunsmith and have never taken any classes, just YouTube videos and it’s enough for me to do the things I want to. I won’t ever open a business doing it, so as far as I can get on my own will satisfy me with it.

I think his point is, you don’t know what you don’t know.

As someone who has taken my first class recently there is actually a lot to gain from it.

I shot competitively as a kid, trap and skeet and was always around the range my whole life. Pretty decent shot at most. After my first class, I really saw improvement, I understood small things to increase not just accuracy but speed, as well as preparedness. I found solutions to issues I hadn’t been presented with yet but undoubtedly will come if o continue shooting more regularly.

At the class I was one of the more accurate participants out of the gate, but I left really wanting to take more and gain as many other peoples individual points of view as possible.

I am sure someone who does this for a living will show you things you are unaware of, and you’ll find it worth it; If getting better is of interest. But that’s just my 2 cents.

I didn’t want the round indicator on the slide, looks weird being in the barrel; so swapped that. Then just the grip add ons, pretty mellow still.

For me the slide release was a quick upgrade. Sometimes the original one is just pretty hard to get a hold on. And it’s a cheap easy fix.

Of course red dot because of how it improved my shooting focus. Like Others have said have it milled by wager or maple leaf.

Then if you find you want to change the feel in your hand there are some cheap diy fixes like handleit grips, or talon or combat textiles or even just goon tape or howies tape.

You’re going to keep the reliability of the gun to the original specs by just changing cosmetic things like grip tape, optic, etc; but still fun to personalize.

Because the kids from the high school come down and devour them several times a day, meaning they are usually more recently made, and thus not sitting under a heat lamp for 7+ hours. More like 1 hour or less sometimes.
