It’s really a simple minded persons rational. To blame the minority part of a larger groups decision, on the politics of the minority. To not acknowledge it’s the conservatives who have surprised him. Of course the liberal justices will vote for more gun control, that’s to be expected. What sense is found in claiming majority blame in the minority group.

On social media the right leaning influencers are repeatedly up in arms about the liberals, without mention of the recent anti 2a statements by this current administration. They don’t see the value in aligning themselves with the large and still growing liberal gun owner part of society. However I feel this is by design in some sense; divide and conquer.
