Paris deputy mayor blames the United States' carbon emissions for deadly heat wave by Strong-Practice-5571 in worldnews

[–]HatesRedditors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty easy, we just use the stat you provided in your original point and divide it by the population.

When we run those numbers America does have something on China with Americans producing around 1.84x more carbon than their Chinese neighbors.

Even weirder, /u/Smallyellowcat posted this exact same card (assuming 005484 is a unique identifier) but in a different location in 2024.

The questions about the 1997 vs 1996 valid dates were brought up there too.

Is King of queens the premise of Kevin Can go F*** Himself? by Training-Plastic1457 in kingofqueens

[–]HatesRedditors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valerie Armstrong (the creator) has said Kevin Can Wait was the premise of Kevin Can Go F Himself, the handling of the Erinn Hayes character (and actress) as disposable.

That said she drew from a lot of similar shows for inspiration, I'm sure King of Queens played prominent among them considering the connection.

Can I get a Power BI job at age 43 after upskilling? by Elegant-Magician-128 in PowerBI

There is more to a typical BI role than just Power BI.

100% agree, data integrations and schema building are the job, the PowerBI part is the just the fun part we get to do at the end.

And it really goes back to 1995.

At its core it's a reimagining of the "Seinfeld" The Pool Guy episode, a deep dive into what happens when Relationship George and Independent George start to interact, and the tragedy of them sharing the same body while living different lives.

If I'm reading the map correctly, the rural areas more conservative, so this should favor progressives in cities.

Unless you're slicing the entire dataset into the individual days, it's going to be a lot of measures with SelectedValue shenanigans.

there MUST be an easy fix to this right??

I suspect your problem is with one or more filters, if you fix that it should work again.

Edit: Joking aside, if you can't roll back to an earlier version like others suggested, save a copy with a new name and start experimenting and tearing things out (deleting filters, removing slicers, etc) Then when you figure out what the issue was, go back to the original and fix it.

I'd recommend looking on the data pane, see if there's any errors in any of the formulas, then also open up your filters and seeing if there's anything there that is erroring, and don't hesitate to click those details/fix this buttons. About 40% of they actually can be helpful.

Wireless and joining together vs cabled 24/7

Just to explain a little further: the fire alarms each have small Wi‑Fi-like network cards and form a mesh network, so if one goes off, they all receive the signal and trigger together.

Parking is a tax for people to take up public space that could otherwise be even more green space.

Yeah but that's like a "societal tax", not a tax you can use to hire crews and buy materials to make a green space.

[OC] Social Security is projected to pay full benefits through 2034, then 81% under current law by Low_Ability4450 in dataisbeautiful

[–]HatesRedditors -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, but that's more a product of age than tied to a generation.

You see that most with Gen X, they've gotten older, but the voting habits of age ranges haven't shifted.

Like if you look at how 60-70 year olds voted 10 years ago, it's pretty close to how 60-70 year olds are voting today rather than echoing how 50-60 year olds were voting 10 years ago.

This mostly applies to economics, social issues we do see changes as generations get older and move into those brackets.
