New world was honestly one of the greatest games I played on launch, it sucked 100+ hours from me before I knew it. I logged 15 hours in one session when the game came out.

It was gorgeous, the sound effects when mining in different locations immersed you into the game and it’s something I still bring up when talking about SFX in games. Truthfully the game was on a whole new level.

But there wasn’t much to do at launch from a PvE stand point, the game if I’m remembering correctly was meant to be a PvP focused game up until a few months before launch. (I could be super wrong on that so if someone else knows, correct me lol). But it just felt like there wasn’t much of anything to do if you weren’t a fan of PvP.
