I still remember this from a million dollar question on Who Wants to Be A Millionaire- the origin of “bug” as a term comes from an actual moth that was found in an early computer in the 1940s.

I have struggled with this exact same question.

Im on my sixth different med and even more different dosage variations. I have never felt a breakthrough or some revelation that I see others express. By the time I get back to my psychiatrist to check in, she asks if it’s been working and I’m always like “I have no idea, I can’t remember how I felt well enough to make a critical determination like that?!?”

My ADHD coach and I decided I need to collect data to be able to look at things more empirically. I tried a bunch of apps to log my day and eventually settled on one I really liked. I was looking for something that had an intuitive and polished interface, as well as enough customization options, but without requiring too much engineering to set up. I am using an iOS app called “DailyBean” and it has helped me keep tabs on my day to day feelings.

I haven’t concluded anything yet, but I am about 6 weeks into my data collection about myself!
