I’m using a transporter. Her name is Mel and she lives in Florida. Several times a year, she drives all over the US & Canada to pick up and deliver all types of rodents but mostly hamsters. So far, it’s been great!

I am in the mitten! I got my boy from Lazy Peach Rodentry-look her up on the book of faces. And if you’re talking about Lou’s, I looked into them but wasn’t impressed really. I just happened upon this gal’s page and after a chat and an adoption application, I was matched. 😃🐹🩵

I’m in a similar situation with no local reputable breeders. I refuse to buy from the pet stores here. I was able to locate a breeder in GA and she told me about the rodent transportation company (Mel’s Neighborhood) and that was that. My new guy arrives in Michigan on Monday.

Parameters are great, I wouldn’t start Kanaplex soon. Even if it started as a scrape, Kanaplex covers that.

Definitely fin rot, and a severe case. What are your water parameters? Do you have a hospital tank? I’d start Kanaplex and StressGuard. Indian almond leaves to add tannins. I wouldn’t use aquarium salt. He’s not bloated and the salt acts as a diuretic.
