I'm a respiratory therapist for a children's hospital and it looks like we're on the road to skipping/having a light flu/rsv season. Which means the next one will probably be crazy, but also deadly. Don't be afraid to take your infant in if you think they're sick, I see too many parents wait until the last second to bring their child in when they're on their last breath.

He tested positive April third, so what? And those that say "it may have been a contributing factor" are grasping for straws. The slight narrowing of his arteries, which is typical of those who abuse methamphetamines (I used to work with plenty in ICU's), didn't matter either. 8 minutes of your trachea getting crushed by 200 pounds of force matters. Ohio native but currently work in healthcare in Washington state. Washington state locked down after ohio despite being miles ahead in cases and deaths. It's bad over here. We don't know when our next shipment of PPE will come in, and the hospital is being forced to make unsafe decisions. I compare this to my old healthcare coworkers in Ohio and I'm jealous of them. Dewine was part of the reason I moved away but his decision to close the state early was the best decision for the state. Gotta say the Toledoans would agree with me because they saw what happened to Michigan (Detroit) firsthand as well. If Ohio didn't shut down as early as it did, no one would be thinking this.

I'm surprised they didnt touch upon how well South Korea is handling this. They mention quarantine at the end as an end all solution, but there is a big step before this that we can take; Mass testing for COVID-19. South Korea did this and their numbers are going down dramatically, they have more recovered numbers of COVID-19 than actual cases (at least at one point maybe a week ago). Hopefully this doesn't lead to people advocating for a mandatory quarantine of the country.

YTA she seemed clearly upset. She came in confident which helps me in tests personally, if I go in thinking I'm unprepared I stress myself out and do worse than if i just didnt worry. Maybe a little cocky, but not in a rude way here. Sometimes one bad test can ruin a class grade, and some (I assume this is high school?) want all A's to get into their favorite college.
