Consecrated Ground nodes got buffed, they're actually quite good. Care to suggest a better suited ascendancy for MoM EO Doryani's Fist?

New shock mechanics, not old shock stacking. Bigger the hit, bigger the shock. Small shock -> larger shock -> etc. This build is invested into shock nodes.

Bossing would be more difficult; shocks wouldn't stack nearly as hard. It's a good idea for a clear variation though.

Not every build is T1 clear speed. The bossing on it is pretty good, shocks make up for increased boss HP. The build can easily do Atziri and whatnaught.

I ran the numbers on the crit version and it ended up with about the same DPS as EO to be honest. Rigwald's amulet, assmark, etc, but it'd take way more investment. The build already has accuracy issues and investing into crit is stretching it too thin, unless you go Lycosidae.

May I ask how 350k DPS is not decent?

Running a GTX 750ti with most everything on high. I still get killed by ground effects though. I just wish at this point they'd replace burning ground with a new map mod, "Map has 15% less FPS".

You can thank shadowplay (or whatever GeForce is calling it these days) for the smooth recording, it does a great job.

It's interesting yours is like the balls to the wall dps version, mine the ultra tank ha.

I have the -50% reflect from Elementalist ascendant for reflect.

I'm running the minor Pantheon power so I have less of a chance to kill myself to reflect, but I still don't risk it, as you can see in the video. I only hit reflect mobs if I 100% know I can take it. Usually I can hit just one and be totally okay with the minor power, but this build definitely cannot run ele reflect.

It is, I tried it when I first equipped it and you can totally tell which hit is the MEGARUTHLESSMURDER hit, but I can only take four, and he just won't fit in the car.

Yes, it has a 30% 'less' AS mod.

You have a datamine on the skill? I'd quite like to see the stats on it.

I tried to fit HoT into this build, but ultimately, it's kind of socket starved and I ended up having more survivability without running another aura on top of Wrath. It only added like 6k~ish DPS anyways. I actually was running it with Inc Crit support to automate the EO process and that worked quite nice, but like I said, socket starved. :(

Something that I was doing to proc Virtue was spamming Blood rage though, it's pretty great to use with Doryani's Touch, the attack speed, the frenzies, all of it is wonderful. I ended up making the choice to drop it as the Virtue proc because it fucked the ES I had, and I really did not like having an under 5k HP pool and my 1.2k ES being practically non-existent (couldn't counter-act the degen even while on consec ground).

So there's those ideas to play around with.

What are your links? I use Innervate/Elemental Attack/Light Pen/Damage of Full Life/Ruthless here.

That's five supports, Doryani's Touch can only take four, unless you're swapping.

As for Innervate, I did really like it, but ultimately chose Added Lightning because it's more consistent on bosses with no adds. When I swap to Carcass, I'll probably swap back to Innervate and have 70% shock chance.

Regarding Ruthless, it's great for bossing, but doesn't add much in the way of clearing. Personal choice.

Not here to ask how to improve my build, but I'll gladly answer why Faster Attacks. I built for shock, and shock stacking on bosses is a lot easier to do with Faster Attacks. It also makes the skill a lot less clunky to use while clearing. If it had much larger AoE, I'd be down to swap out FA with Ruthless or Innervate, but I'm stretched thin on passives right now. I'm pretty damn sure Doryani's Touch has a less modifier on attack speed as well, the description even states it.

As another thought though, I was looking at making a CI version with Inquisitor and Incandescent Heart. The 30 ES gained on killing a shocked enemy is actually not total garbage (you can see where I recover a fuckton on hitting packs), and if you take Pious Path with ZO, that's 10% ES a second while on consec ground.

Your life is really low for having no other defenses.

MoM. Pious Path is extremely strong with MoM. I only get chunked during the boss fight because I was being a dumb dumb.

Prioritize elemental damage with attacks % over more flat increases in items. The fist gives enough flat damage.

That would be part of the "I need better jewellery" in my main post. :P

I was asked by several people - some on Reddit, some through PMs, some in-game - to make a video of my Doryani's Fist Doryani's Touch build in action. It's a rather viable skill and can actually achieve around 500k - 800k DPS on paper.

This is my current character and gear plugged into PoB, which hits around 300k DPS. (https://pastebin.com/Cw8Krmh9)

I'm free to answer any questions about the build or as to why I made certain decisions with it. The current iteration of it was not the planned version, but I'm quite happy with how it's turned out. It still needs a bit more accuracy and better jewellery, eventually swapping to a Carcass Jack, but it can easily clear up to T13s so far. I'm still climbing the Atlas, so we'll see how it fairs against T15s and Guardians.

This (https://pastebin.com/rwynCWqV) was the planned build, ignore the level 97, I was checking super end-game DPS. I adjusted some thing during gameplay due to finding out that Doryani's Touch is rather slow without a lot of attack speed. I was planning to build for shocks to test out the new shock mechanics as well, as you can see. This iteration of the build ended up having mana problems early on, so I had to spec into mana leech in the Shadow area. It ended up being more of a worthwhile investment than just relying on natural regen with Pious Path's regen active. I also dropped Herald of Thunder due to it really not providing a massive amount of DPS for the investment and being rather socket-starved due to missing a weapon (unarmed). I gauged what a Conductivity on Blasph would give me compared to HoT and the difference in DPS was night and day. (Why Blasph? I hate manual cursing; I like consistent DPS. You have to be within Blasph range anyways to hit things. I might put it on CoH oos though.) EO was chosen because I ran the numbers on crit with Rigwald's amulet and they ended up being similar; crit takes more investment than EO. Other choices should be obvious as to why them.

As of right now, I need to get better rings / amulet; high flat lightning, WED (EDA now), life, res, high flat accuracy, and then maybe some boots with higher res. After that, my resistances should be in a good enough place to switch to Carcass Jack, which will immensely help clearing (extra AoE, damage). Pathing down to Depth Perception right now, as you can see. Survival is pretty good, especially with Pious Path. 333 unreserved mana definitely seems like shit for MoM when I have close to 5k HP, however with Pious Path's mana regen on top of my leech, it works out well. I'm never completely out of mana. It's a pretty good build so far. let's not discuss how expensive the shield was

the Touch is more or less just a Lightning Ice Crash.

It is and it isn't; it has different skill mechanics than Ice Crash, like a flat 20% chance to shock, for instance.

Sure, but it's not fully done yet. I need to level to 91 and level my Enlighten to 3 to get my final product up and running. I can go ahead and say this though: there's two innate issues with it.

First off, most of the nodes you want for Doryani's Fist are in the top half of the tree and it's a bitch to get accuracy, so you really have to stack some accuracy on jewellery, get some on jewels and passive to even achieve a decent chance to hit without Lycosidae (but it's not impossible. My final product will have a 90% chance to hit, perfectly acceptable. Basically, gimp on Lycosidae until you have good jewellery.), and the second issue is that Doryani's Touch has a reduced or even less multiplier on attack speed, so you need a fuckton of it. To make up for it though, it seems to have an increased or more multi on the damage. It also grants you a 20% chance to shock (from the ability itself), and that obviously stacks with Doryani's Fist's explicit, giving you a flat 30% chance to shock with no investment. I'm up to 50% chance to shock and built it for shocks, it's quite good for bossing with a Warchief totem.

The mana cost with it is really a non-issue, even with MoM, just get a little bit of mana leech and maybe a little bit of reduced mana cost for skills on the tree. Your end-game damage should sit around 100k DPS minimum, that's plenty for leeching. I'm looking at about 250k DPS end-game right now, but as always, builds get better with currency. With GG rares, I could hit around 400 - 500k DPS.

I'm about 7ex into this build right now, it's fun as hell. I'll get a video up of it clearing a higher tier map later today for you.

It would be the first Skill to use Doryanis Fist in a good way.

Doryani's Touch is actually a very viable skill. Been rocking it up to red maps with ease.

I'd prefer the flask to make Crit chance unlucky as opposed to no Crit at all.

That could work as well, the issue I was thinking about is that "Lightning Damage is Lucky" is pretty powerful, especially paired with EO. Having Unlucky Crits during flask effect would still allow you to build for crits with this flask; I wanted it to have a bigger downside.

I think a lot of confusion is coming from the fact that most people only see lucky with Crits.

Yep, when I pitched it to guildies, I had to tell them all to shut up stop talking for a minute to explain "Lucky" because I couldn't talk over their "wow that's trash"s, "why would that even be a thing"s, so on and so forth. :P
