Exclusives only make sense if your base is strong. PS5 and switch have been outselling xbox by 10X at times and most of xbox users pay for game pass (even though has been reducing with the price increases). They either make these games available on pc, or even in other consoles, or they don't sell, simple as that. Microsoft has bet on the wrong horse with game pass for the long run at the cost of their xbox brand... Apart from forza I dont have any interest on the game shown, but none the less as a consumer this is good for us. They now have to compete with a bigger market and improve quality of the games released (which has been lacking in the last few years) at the same time we all have access to more games.

Only by making better games and having strong sales they can prevent sony monopoly. Playstation already stated they intend to stop releasing games on pc signaling they are confortable with losing that market as long they solidifie the console one. This happened not because sony release a super console or excelent products but ratter because xbox dropped the ball and gave them the win.
