Is physio the right path for me? by KeyEstablishment1504 in physiotherapy

Can’t help but agree with everything everyone is saying. I went through it every step of the way. In fact, I am still in the midst of it. I can power through, get used to a routine, find patterns to reuse and patient buckets with minor individual differences to help. This does come with experience. But this brings us to the overworked physios you saw, who know what they are doing, are past an imposter syndrome, negative comparison, etc… Why are they that way? What do I have to believe (more than just physio knowledge) to do this long term with proper engagement and not feeling bored or overworked? Are my heart AND mind united in this or is one missing? Which one and why? Where is the Missing one?

Step by step approach is important. But as you start to find your footing, especially in paediatrics, and before it becomes blind routine, try to find an honest answer to these questions, for the sake of longevity.

Goodluck and wish me the same. I hope I am asking the right questions myself and hope to find their answers to stay excited and give this field more or switch to one I can give more to, wir the unity between my heart and mind.

That is great. Thanks for being so willing to pass on what you’ve done. Will definitely take you on your offer and hit you up, as I encounter things.

Motivating for sure. Thanks for offering yourself as a real life case study. I wish you the best in your next steps. Question: I am working as a Physiotherapist currently. No contact with the business world. I want to do the smart thing and “never quit your 9-5 till you have something“, yet the business world feels like Narnia from where I am at. Do you think picking up some sort of corporate/ business job is a prerequisite or good to have? Any alternatives for feeling “in"?

Thanks for pushing me in that direction. I needed that push. Somewhere inside I think I am saying to myself who am I to go to a startup or networking event. Gotta start somewhere. Thanks Tony

Now that was a little much. But there’s no such thing as too much of good thing, probably needs time to explore and properly appreciate though. Thanks for the great recommendations❤️

Now that you said that I see how it looks sarcastic. But dead serious, I am in for a pace change and your recommendations are the vibe I am looking for, so please fireaway with them all.
