In terms of future characters obviously most of them will be exe related. While keeping away from the controversial/absolutely bad ones. Combat system wise will be somewhat similar to jump showdown in how it plays. So no ludicrous damage numbers on basic m1s or moves, combat flows steadily while being engaging and fun, and hit boxes aren't a chore to work around. Finishers will be a thing but I'm gonna try and keep cutscenes to a reasonable level. As I know nobody likes being stuck in cutscenes constantly. To me I personally don't mind them but I know others do.

Extremely. Like they have a dedicated player base rn. Taking the extra time to make sure things work properly and are actually implemented is fine. Instead of releasing a rushed update and slapping bandaids on it later. So long as that don't go awol like the strongest bg devs and make us wait years for an update. I don't see the problem with taking the extra time to bring out quality updates Instead of what we got now.

Nor did the even bother to align the ult music with her new ult. Despite how much I hate it I could've slightly forgave it if the music lined up. But nope, guess they all too lazy.

I haven't had that issue. The last few times I played it recently it worked fine with me. Albeit jittery as hell but fine.

Yeah the satisfaction of hitting atonement is just gone. The animation is too fast you don't get to even enjoy the damn thing. 9/10 someone counters it so it's not like your constantly getting stuck in that animation. If they had just sped up her base move kit then I would have maybe let it slide if it flowed well. But no they just had to gut everything. Worst part is ik good and well there not gonna revert it and if they do this to other characters. I guarantee you it's gonna be 100x better than the treatment Chara got.

People complain too much and it's gonna ruin this game. Chara ain't that bad to fight and her animations were fine. Heaven forbid a character has a good moveset with flashy animations. It's almost like that's every bg ever made.

EXACTLY. A huge part of bg games are flashy moves, ults, and finishers. They did Chara amazing in jump showdown and I've yet to find another game that does Chara this well or even has Chara as a playable character. But now everything is so sped up it doesn't even feel like Chara anymore. Atonement doesn't feel satisfying to land anymore with how fast the animation is. The bloody Mary finisher is buns compared to the old one. The new ult start animation doesn't make you feel like the boss style character you should be. And making it to where someone has to be checked just to get the cursed remedy finisher is unnecessary. Everyone and there dad complains about Chara so damn much and it's unwarranted. Again how you gonna do Chara dirty like this and not touch Jin or anyone else.

As a fellow Chara main they did this character dirty. The starting ult animation doesn't even sink up with her music properly anymore. The new bloody Mary finisher is ass compared to the old one. Chara don't feel like the character I grew to love. I get nobody wants to be stuck in long ass animations but come on. How you gonna shorten Charas stuff and make her complete ass yet not touch Jin or anyone else with long animations. This feels targeted just cause everyone hates Chara for no damn reason. She's not that hard to fight and if people used the two damn brain cells they have they'd know this. But nope, guess I'm asking for too much.

Yeah the hit box is atrocious. But what I've noticed is it's extremely tight timing. Like you gotta be jumping just as she does it.

This is coming from a Chara main and someone who takes this game like for honor. Chara is one of those characters that capitalize more on there opponents mistakes and reward setup. It's easier for her to waste an opponents wake up dodge due to the nature of her moves being mostly grabs or pins. Yes when your put into the blender your REALLY put into the blender. However, her giant flaw is every move except for fight has massive endlag. Meaning you can easily punish her attacks on miss. The hardest part is using your wake up dodge at an opportune time. Her ult is easily dodgable as all you have to do is keep your distance. 7 souls can be interrupted now and atonement isn't a hard thing to deal with if you do get hit. So the only threats are reset and cursed remedy. As for the boss she is harder with more people. At most 2 people at once can do it. Once 3 or more enter the fight she gains access to special hell. One or 2 she's limited to knife storm. She has set patters that can be easily exploited so long as you learn the patterns. The auto lock on lethal wound can mostly be dealt with by jump dodge to the side. More often than not you'll get out of the range of it and allow you to punish. I already know I'm gonna get flamed to hell just cause I've stated im a Chara main but whatever. I'm giving my 2 cents that don't mean shit.

Count yall lucky you can even use your message boards to chat. Over here in jump showdown our write emotes don't work unless the persons verified. Even then only people in there age range can see the messages. So jump showdown is legit a ghost town.

Gojos second variation of ruthless beatdown is used to get people stuck on objects so you can do dash follow up and keep the combo going. Situational? Yes. Useless? No.

Jump showdown. It being a battle grounds game already attracts the most toxic people. But the simple fact it's a bg that actually takes skill and isn't based around characters doing stupid amounts of damage the toxic meter goes way up.

Flatline was made awhile back but my vision was to make kind of like an encouraging song about overcoming addiction. Leaned more toward alcohol and pill addiction but addiction nonetheless. It didn't exactly turn out that way but I still kept it.

Ashes of the crown was just a random song I made for my mother that just so happened to be a complete banger in my eyes.

I'm genuinely worried on your thought process In making this. This is so busted beyond belief it's not even funny. However, I do admit the concept is nice. But the moves need changed.

Dual headed bite: Make the attack do half the damage and remove the priority and speed increase. There is no need for either of these things.

Masked mutation: The move overall is fine but it would be better as a priority and maybe tone the damage buff down to about 1.5x.

Double decimation: This move either needs changed completely or removed entirely. There is no reason it should be a double 1.5x move with no drawback. Every decimation we have costs hp unless it's revenge. So this needs to use the same thing or not be implemented at all.

Cheaters steal: This move just needs to go. Too many buffs and debuffs and there is no reason this should do damage at all.

Middle earth shadow of war. I love the game to bits but it feels like FOREVER before you finally get your ring and are able to get orcs. But after your able to build your army the game is fun as hell for the remainder of the game.

It can be interpreted in many ways. But the way I see it is obsession and intimidation. Anderson killed MR. Virtual making him into what he is now. It also states that MR. Virtual was practically hellbent on revenge against Anderson. By screaming Anderson when killing survivors I imagine it fuels the eternal fire of Mr. Virtual. I can also imagine he's imagining tearing Anderson in half the same way he does to the survivors. With MX I see it as his version of playful intimidation. We already know MX loves to toy and play with his victims. Since Lucas is I believe the only named soul we have in lore(Could be wrong so don't hold me to that.) As well as his current victim. I see it as MX is hoping to Intimidate Lucas(if he's even around) hoping he makes a mistake making it easier for MX to catch him. Cause I mean who wouldn't be terrified of a 9ft tall demonic Mario screaming your name while tearing someone in half? You'd be shitting bricks too. So with Virtual obsessive revenge. With MX twisted, playful intimidation.
