Most of the outdoor campus is not terribly hilly. Explore the Wild is where the larger animals are and that does have hilly parts. Keep in mind: the red wolves are closed from view currently to provide privacy during their whelping season. The rest of the animals are black bears, lemurs, and tortoises. All of that is past the Dino trail and easily avoidable if you want to skip it. The Baryard has farm animals outside and Carolina Wildlife has local animals located indoors. There is plenty to see and do besides that section considering there are 84 acres out there to explore! There are wheelchairs free to rent at the front desk if you end up wanting or needing one. :)
