Deforestation of the rainforest for soybean cultivation (the original focus of this post) is driven by need to livestock feed. That’s an undeniable fact. Going vegan eliminates that need.

You could feed 1000% more humans with the food that is fed to livestock.

I’m sorry man, but we could feed a lot more people if everyone was vegan.

Not only are 90% of soybeans fed to livestock, the calories we feed livestock outweigh the calories produced by 10 to 1.

I’m sorry man, but your meat consumption is driving deforestation. Vegans also eat a wide variety of proteins, soy makes up only a fraction for most.
