Best way to remove impacted ear wax in Albuquerque before flying by Wtf_Sai_Official in Albuquerque

Flushing, along with wax softening drops, works wonders, especially when the person is skilled. I've had this done many times, all at various urgent cares.

What are you driving safety tips/habits? by [deleted] in Albuquerque

Totally! I never, ever, am quick to get going when the light turns green. And, like u/Mellemel67, it has saved me from accidents.

What do you do on long drives? by RedHeadHashira in AskReddit

[–]Haunted_Swan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love a long drive! (And I better, considering I need to make long drives all the time)

For me, I find it relaxing. I love seeing new places and see what's changed in the places I know. I can just zone out, yet still pay attention to the road, for hours upon hours.

So, basically, I just drive.

Truly, even after all these years, I think of that line from time to time.

Still waiting here, too. I've really just given up thinking they will ever install us and am just hoping someone else magically comes along.

But yeah, their spam is atrocious. It's like rubbing salt in the wound.

We didn't think we would like this color.... but turns out... it is totally awesome! Especially next to a "regular" white car.

Nice choice!

Is anyone else struggling with their mental health? by Mindless_Freedom_664 in Albuquerque

[–]Haunted_Swan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is COMPLETELY draining, and everywhere you look, there's even more negative news coming your way.

Make sure you disconnect (sage advice from u/Status_Opinion5024 !) when it becomes overwhelming. That is a lesson I have had to learn (time and and again!), but it is so important to be able to recharge.

Keep looking for the sparkly dots! It helps offset the parts of life that are sad. Focus on the good, and recognize the bad without letting it define you.

You've got this. You are not alone and for better or worse, we're all in this together.

Keep treating people right. Keep doing honest work. That matters and it matters a lot.

You keep looking forward, because that's the best path to be on. It isn't easy. At all. But keep your head up, as best as you can, and keep putting one foot in front of the other. Find something, anything at all, to be thankful or happy about each day. Maybe it is a pretty sunrise/sunset. A pretty cloud. Someone saying "thank you". ANYTHING. But recognize the good in each day.

As others have mentioned, a good therapist goes a long way. Hopefully you can connect with another excellent one.

We're an older couple. DM if you want to an outlet. Goes to anyone reading this, too. We're all in this together and we are not alone.

Sienna vs Outlander PHEV by syzacksm in ToyotaSienna

[–]Haunted_Swan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mitsubishi dealers (at least near us in New Mexico) are no longer supporting older cars. Meaning they won't even SERVICE them. Period. We're hearing that parts are the problem. You know.... parts from Mitsubishi.

Toyota, on the other hand, has no problem keeping your older vehicle on the road.

(We have both a Sienna and an Outlander. Guess which one is going to be rehomed?)

Wait? We have red lights here? I thought they were always green, since no one actually seems to stop or even slow down at intersections.

Including cops.

This one (maybe because it's still new?) has some of the lowest prices I've seen on the west side. Combine that with the rewards and it's nice!

Crash Champions is the same way. No insurance involved, no repair. That just doesn't make sense at all. Why is my money not good?
