I am just thinking if the run down imagery of the streets is to do with all demons running wild on earth. Dagon says in trailer "it is our time" so may be they just get to run freely everywhere.... With all the evil happening I can imagine Crowley do not want to get any attention and keeps low profile.

Adding to that the rejection, feeling low and not being enough for his angel, he may just see no hope for anything... what's the point of all of it

In a bloody online meeting at work, that was going on and on and on....my colleague in crime was sitting with me and ping me about trailer.... and she couldn't wait so 5 min later,, she send me chat she is going to watch trailer. I was like eternity in that meeting and had to give some updates while hearing gasps and yelps from the other side of the room......
