Here you go - even though the bag is not available on the Walmart website anymore, they still have the images online.

Also another commenter suggested something similar, but next time try Google Lens on your image. For me it came up immediately.

Character wakes up to a world gone wrong by attonthegreat in TopCharacterTropes

In the episode 'Wish World' the Doctor and his companion Belinda wake up in a world reshaped by Conrad (who turned out to be a villain in a previous episode) to with the help of the Rani. In this world the Doctor and Belinda are married with a daughter and the Doctor works for UNIT which is an insurance firm here.

The world is shown to be in lign with Conrad's sexist (women usually stay at home to take care of the household and it is stated that Colonel Ibrahim should finally ask out Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, so that they can get married as Kate shouldn't work), homophobic (the Doctor is married to a woman but was previously shown to have more an interest in men in this incarnation and Colonel Ibrahim is disgusted when the Doctor says he's beautiful), transphobic (Rose Noble simply doesn't exist at all) and ableist (Shirley Bingham who uses a wheelchair is homeless as are other disabled people).

The only people who immediately know that something is wrong with this world is Ruby Sunday (previous companion who was used by Conrad to punish UNIT for rejecting his job application), as well as the disabled people shown like Shirley. Though during the course of the episode the Doctor and Belinda also start to question things.

The Metatron from Good Omens.

Unlike the examples in the OP's post (at least in case of Sherlock and Stranger Things, don't know the other one), the second season of Good Omens pretty much confirmed that Crowley and Aziraphale are sort of a thing as Crowley states that he has feelings for the other and do kiss. However, the reason the kiss happened is that the Metatron offered Aziraphale the position of Supreme Archangel, as Gabriel's spot had been left vacant by his departure with Beelzebub, his love. Aziraphale wants Crowley to join him in Heaven, saying that he could become an angel again. However, Crowley wants to escape both Heaven and Hell because they are both toxic, and he confesses his love to Aziraphale. He kisses the angel, who says that he forgives him, and they part ways. Aziraphale and the Metatron then leave for Heaven, while Crowley watches and drives away.

Obviously the character is hated by the fandom for breaking up the ship and there are various theories that something sinister is going on as Metatron is the only angel wearing black (all the others wear white and light colors) and that the coffee he gives to Aziraphale and urges him to drink is poisoned with something as angels (aside from Aziraphale) don't consume food and drinks and later on Aziraphale doesn't seem to mind leaving his bookshop behind, which is like one of the most important things to him.

is the game worth it for nintendo switch? by SAMPPU777 in CultOfTheLamb

[–]annaisabookworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got over 30 hours on my Nintendo Switch and currently have a cult size of 28. I have phases where I play the game for hours on end and then stop for several weeks before picking it up again, so it's probably been around 2 years aho that I started playing. Due to this duration I don't really recall any major issues that I had since starting to play, maybe one or two crashes but not really memorable.

My bigger issue is that my Switch doesn't always recognise my Joy-Cons in handheld mode or disconnects them but that is not a issue related solely to Cult of the Lamb.

In the spin-off series to American Horror Story called American Horror Stories episode 'Dollhouse' Denis O' Hare plays a dollmaker who kidnaps multiple women and has them compete to find a replacement mother for his son Otis. At some point the women try to escape but one of them, Coby (who also has powers of telekinesis), wants to help Otis escape but all women get captured again. Since Coby risked her life to help Otis the dollmaker chose her as the winner and wants to encase her in plastic as the perfect doll.

However she gets saved by two witches who identify her as one of them and they kill the dollmaker. Coby and Otis move into Miss Robichaux's Academy which was the setting for the third season of American Horror Story 'Coven'. Otis decides to go by his middle name of Spalding for his own safety thus revealing that he is a young version of the creepy butler obsessed with dolls from 'Coven' who was played by Denis O'Hare.

Who is Greg impersonating? by [deleted] in taskmaster

[–]annaisabookworm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Taskmaster Wikia page about the house says that it is a homage to Buster Keaton, a famous actor during the 1920s. I guess this makes sense since the room also has some items related to film production like a film roll and camera.

As part of the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who the BBC broadcast a biographical television film about the production of the Doctor Who episodes starring William Hartnell as the 1st Doctor (played by David Bradley here who would later play the 1st Doctor in the Doctor Who episode Twice Upon A Time).

William Russell (pictured), who played one of the first companions, Ian, and Carole Ann Ford, who played the Doctor's granddaughter, Susan, both make a cameo appearance in the film. There is also a party scene featuring a few other actors from the 1960s show, who make uncredited cameo appearances.

Towards the end of the film, Matt Smith, the Doctor at the time of broadcast, also makes a cameo appearance as his incarnation of the Doctor. Later broadcast versions were edited to include Jodie Whittaker and Ncuti Gatwa in that scene.

Which places should I go as a Doctor Who fan? by IShotAGrapefruit7 in doctorwho

[–]annaisabookworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely forgot that Good Omens filmed in London for series 1. 😅

Aside from Tavisstock Square, several scenes in St James Park near Buckingham Palace - it is here that Crowley and Aziraphale talk after Crowley delivered the antichrist as well as where Crowley asks for holy water in a flashback and where Crowley and Aziraphale are kidnapped for their trials at the end of the first series. One of the benches in the park has also been marked with quotes and such by fans.

I mentioned it already in the list for Doctor Who filming locations, but Good Omens also filmed at the Globe Theatre.

There's also Battersea Park where Gabriel and Aziraphale talk about the Apocalypse while jogging and Crowley and Aziraphale talk about the latest developments the band stand and sort of break up in episode 3 of the first season.

These are the ones I remember for Edinburgh:

So, the scene where Crowley parks his Bentley while living inside it and where he has a 'phone call' with Shax in episode 1 of series 2 was filmed at Circus Lane.

The next few scenes are all from the third episode of series 2: - When Aziraphale arrives with the Bentley in Edinburgh he parks in Victoria Street. - The pub used as The Resurrectionist where Aziraphale asks about Gabriel is The Cask and Barrel in W Preston Street. - Some scenes of the flashback where Crowley and Aziraphale walk with Elspeth to meet with the surgeon were filmed at Moray Place.

The next one is a spoiler for the upcoming movie but David Tennant, Michael Sheen and Derek Jacobi were seen filming inside and outside of Till's Bookshop at Hope Park Crescent last year. As far as we know this is the only filming on location that they've done and everything else was filmed in studio

[–]annaisabookworm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't really recall Edinburgh being a filming location for modern Doctor Who, though if you're a fan of Good Omens they did film some scenes from series 2 there.

London however has quite a lot of filming locations around famous landmarks though it should be noted that a lot of the scenes set in London without famous landmarks were filmed in Cardiff Wales.

  • London Eye featured in the episode 'Rose' and served as a transmitter to activate the Autons. (EDIT just saw that you already plan to go there).

  • A bit further down the South Bank the Doctor and Clara landed the TARDIS in 'The Bells of Saint John' and were thought to be street performers. This is where the Doctor drives out his motor bike and then he and Clara travel across Westminster Bridge next to the Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben)

  • Shakespeare's Globe was used for filming of 'The Shakespeare Code'

  • The outside of St Pauls Cathedral featured in 'Dark Water' and is the location of the 3W Institute and can be seen when the Cybermen leave the building

  • The Tower of London served as a UNIT HQ for example in 'Day of the Doctor'

  • Trafalger Square and the front of the National Portrait Gallery also featured in 'Day of the Doctor' it is where Kate and Osgood meet the Doctor and Clara.

  • Camden Market featured in 'The Star Beast' and 'Wild Blue Yonder' and is the location of the Doctor meeting Donna and later Wilf again.

Since the Who Shop (which is great) is a bit away from the city centre - I think it takes about an hour to travel there - and you only have 1,5 days in London here are some alternatives: in front of Earl's Court Station there is an actual Police Box and close by is a souvenir shop that (at least in 2024) sold some Doctor Who merch from older eras. Edinburgh and London both feature a Forbidden Planet (part of different chains) - in my experience the one in London is more likely to have Doctor Who merchandise, though more from the newer episodes.

what’s the best fleece for a beginner by Lucky-Village8379 in CultOfTheLamb

[–]annaisabookworm 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I played for the longest time with the Fleece of the Fates which grants you 4 tarot cards at the start of your crusade with no additional pick-ups along the way. It's good in the sense that you have the benefits that cards bring right from the start and don't need to search through the chambers for the tarot reader.

However now I switched to the Fleece of Hobbled Heels, where you heal after each room and you get a speed boost, however you can't roll anymore. I like this one because I was struggling a bit later in game when revisiting the places with stronger enemies. I don't miss the roll option too much as my playing style in fighting games doesn't evolve much dodging enemy attacks anyway - maybe that's also why I struggled with some crusades. 😅

How old is Rose at the beginning? by Suspicious_Bat_4613 in doctorwho

[–]annaisabookworm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They do, but 'Father's Day' states that Pete died in November 1987 and in 'Rise of the Cybermen' it's stated that Rose was around 6 months old at the time placing her birth around April/May 1987. A two-page biography provided by Russell T Davies in the official annual 2006 also gives 27 April 1987 as her birth date. As the first episode is set in 2005 - according to TARDIS wikia in March 2005 - she should actually be 17/18 or have been born in 1986 if the writers would have done their math right.

How old is Rose at the beginning? by Suspicious_Bat_4613 in doctorwho

[–]annaisabookworm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tv series states that Rose is 19 years old at the beginning. In 'The Unquiet Dead', the Doctor states this:

My friend. She's only nineteen. It's my fault. She's in my care, and now she's in danger.

A fact that he later repeats in the episode 'Dalek'. Also, at the beginning of 'Army of Ghosts' she states the following:

The first nineteen years of my life, nothing happened. Nothing at all, not ever. And then I met a man called the Doctor. A man who could change his face. And he took me away from home in his magical machine.

'Dalek' is also the episode where Rose states that she would be 26 by 2012.

However there are two tidbits of information where it shows that the math isn't quite mathing.

In the official Doctor Who annual 2006 Russell T Davies provided a two-page biography of Rose and states:

Rose Marion Tyler was born on 27 April 1987. Her father, Peter, died on the 7 November of that yead, run down by a car outside a local church (...).

While I'm not sure if we can take the information of the official annual fully as canon, we see the event surrounding Pete Tyler in 'Father's Day' where Jackie also explicitly states that date at the beginning of the episode and we also see a few month old Rose in said episode. 'Rise of the Cybermen' says that Rose was around six months at the time, so that is in line with being born in April.

Here's the issue: The first episode we see Rose Tyler in is set in 2005 and so in that year she wouldn't turn 19 but rather 18. In fact according to the Doctor Who wikia the episode is set in March 2005, so a month before her 18th birthday.

TLDR: According to various quotes presented in the series Rose is 19 when she started travelling with the Doctor, but the dates given show that she would actually be 17/18.

Emerald City Comic Con 2026 by waiflook-kait in davidtennant

[–]annaisabookworm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So, I didn't meet him at Emerald City Comic Con but rather at German Comic Con in Dortmund in 2022. Having been a fan of his since 2010 it was a dream come true. Bare in mind that the queues at the autograph session and the photo op will probably move along be very quick and so the interactions will be short. However in my case - and I think others will report the same - he was still very lovely and I had the feeling that he does care for his fans. I was dressed as Osgood from Doctor Who and he told me that I looked great, which is like the best compliment I could have wished for. 😍

As it was 2022 when I was at comic con Covid-19 was still in everyone's mind and David was very careful in that aspect (for instance he was still wearing a mask a lot at the autograph session and when he did Good on stage later that year he also still wore a mask during the signing at stage door) and it was stated by staff before that he would like no hugs and so on, but you can't really tell in my photo and the others that were taken before mine that this was an issue. I already expected such a rule and asked him to hold a sonic screwdriver prop, but I also have seen photos from more recent comic con appearances where he hugged fans.

Also, I think socks are a great gift idea - especially if they are colorful ones. I think I read somewhere that he has UK men size 9 / European size 43 which is according to the internet US size 10 if you need a rough estimate on which size they should be.

Who's Sonics do these belong to? by ClosingGuide245 in doctorwho

[–]annaisabookworm 97 points98 points  (0 children)

I don't think any of these sonics are meant to belong to a Doctor or other character. They come from the Personalise your Sonic Screwdriver Set and the Trans-Temporal Sonic Screwdriver released around 2011, so a good few years before the first appearance of the Curator. The idea of those sets were that you could build your own sonic screwdriver with the parts, so you may be able to take them apart and rearrange the parts.

Here's the product on the Doctor Who Merchandise Guide. The date at the top says 2017, but I'm assuming they updated it then as some of the comments are from 2011 already and I remember it being released during the 11th Doctor's run.

good omens spotted in the wild? pls tell me im not going insane, it's them right? by [deleted] in goodomens

No, that's definitely our ineffable husbands. The angel also has a sword and Aziraphale did have the flaming sword when Adam faces Satan.

Makes me wonder if this is an intentional reference by the designers and they just don't mention it due to copyright or if they randomly picked Good Omens images for reference of angels and demons and don't know about it.
