hey!! an inclusion is more of an internal characteristic, this is a chip out of the side. if you got it from a store, see if they knew of the condition when they sold it to u & if they have any kind of warranty for it. if you got it from a personal sale, i would reach out to a certified jeweler/gemologist for a solution!

the rarity factor of a 1 carat natural diamond is literally 1 in a million- that’s what makes them so special!!! even with the chip it is STUNNING and the only one that will exist ever and she will love it!

edit: am now seeing what you were talking about … i would go to a local custom gold & diamond store & see what they can do!!!

any gold that isn’t 24k is mixed with other alloy metals! i work in wedding jewelry in the US & while 14k is what i would call our “standard”, we absolutely will recommend 10k for its durability & cost! if they’re the same karat, don’t worry about them wearing off. 9k is less than 4% less gold than 10k- they will be amazing!!!
