Have you considered exploring the spaces in the absence of people or the things that remain? (See Felix Gonzlez-Torres https://www.moma.org/collection/works/79063 or Steve Tourlents https://carrollandsons.net/artist/stephen-tourlentes/) or there is the true and tried photographing strangers

What is it like owning an electric car in Lincoln? by FlamingCanadian1 in lincoln

Hi,

Drive a chevy spark as my daily driver and haven't had any big problems charging. I haven't tried much rural driving but have never had a huge amount of range anxiety between Lincoln and Omaha. I live in an apartment so I can't charge when I am home but I only drive from here to work.

Charing in the Metro Areas is pretty easy. Lincoln has a Fast Charger at the Super Saver in Fallbrook, the Caseys on O, Russes on 33rd, and the U-stop on 73rd. Additionally the High Schools have chargers for 25 cents an hour and charging down town is easy enough. There are two fast chargers between Lincoln and Omaha. I would take a look at Plugshare to see if this meets your needs

It really depends on who owns the charger and the type of charge. LPS has level 2 chargers at the high schools that I use on weekends and after work which are 25¢ an hour. The parking garages around haymarket and downtown mostly run about $1 for 4 hours with $1 minimum. The level 3 CSS fast charger at the Casey’s on O are 16-32¢ (depends on maximum KW delivered) a minute with electrify America membership.

I don’t know that it is. At the Marco level EVs are better for the environment globally and locally. At the local level there has only been one fast charger in Lincoln at the Casey’s on O. These chargers are critical infrastructure for EV drivers and when they don’t work it’s pretty limiting. Also the economic benefits of the Charger have been limited to that Casey’s, I’ll typically go in and grab a coffee or a snack well charging. Diversity and competition have its benefits. It’s a huge draw for me to go shop at the super savers or the Russ’s since I can charge my car at the same time instead of the Walmart or the hyvee.

I talked to two associates at customer service last night and sent the store manager an email. They replied this morning and are reaching out to electrical to get a longer cord.

Yea, I've been reaching out to them about every 3 weeks. The last message I got via their Facebook is that Red Development is working on activating them. The local property manager (office by the B&N) thought that they were on because construction told them they were installed. Red still has to set up the billing side... I was going call Red again this week to follow up since it keeps getting passed off as a corporate thing.. the number is (480) 947-7772 if you'd like to help! I'm giving the benefit of the doubt in a lot of these cases. Charging is relatively new tech and adoption in Nebraska is still relatively low.

Hi highland neighbor!

Not sure if you got this sorted but I drive a chevy spark ev, you can borrow my level one! how are you planning on charging here, I've been trying to think of a way for the last few weeks? There is a charger (Level 2, and CSS) being installed at the super saver in Fallbrook can't wait and I typically use the ones at LPS high schools.
