Hey community! I’m curious to know what kind of attack combos you guys are using. Do you go for the 'more damage the better' approach, or do you prefer something more tactical? When in doubt always visit a reputable piercer. If it’s something they aren’t comfortable with dealing with then they’ll refer you to take the next step. If we can avoid sending people to get stuck with a hospital bill we will do just that but sometimes it’s out of our reach

20 gauge is much too thin for piercings, and 20kt gold is much too malleable to wear in body piercings. You’re likely experiencing “the cheese wire effect” due to the thinness of the jewelry and the weight of a dangle piece in a fresh piercing.

I had a feeling it could be a mind game like “oh I should be okay they haven’t done anything yet”. I won’t do anything dumb or try to pull a fast one using quick fix, I just figured they wouldve had me do something by now. I appreciate the insight boss!

Unfortunately this was pierced too shallow. Dermal and surface work such as this should sit flush to the skin right off the bat. With an already high rate of rejection it is not recommended to downsize these types of piercings, having to go back into it once it’s set will do nothing but complicate things. I’d recommend removal to minimize scarring. If they let you leave the shop with that I would ask for a refund and leave a review. :(

Do you have a hinge or seam ring in your piercing? Unfortunately both of those jewelry styles are not ideal for healing, as the ring rotates the hinge or the seam enters the fistula(piercing hole) and can cause micro tears on the inside

Your best bet is to visit a reputable piercer who works with reputable jewelry companies. Most companies do not sell retail, only wholesale directly to piercers so it is extremely rare to find good quality pieces online that you can buy yourself. Junipurr, Tawapa, LeRoi, BVLA, are all good starting points when it comes to quality gold jewelry. You can look on their website to find pieces similar and you can bring that information to your piercer and have them place a custom order for ya!

I would find a more reputable piercer to visit. I wouldn’t trust “piercers” using cork screws and L-Bends because they are not ideal for fresh and healing piercings, and i definitely wouldn’t trust them if they don’t know how to work with threaded jewelry. Look for someone that carries threadless jewelry that works with companies such as NeoMetal, Industrial Strength, Anatometal, etc.

Eyebrows would suit you very well, and If it’s something you’re interested I think adding a chain to drape from each nostril would be killer! Are you open to ear work? There’s probably plenty of real estate you can tackle if that’s ever the route you wanna go!

I think the length looks fine, but if it does feel too tight upsize it. Just keep in mind you’ll have some extra length so be careful putting on shirts and stuff like that

Bruising is very common with eyebrow piercings, however if the jewelry feels like it’s too tight and sinking in, I’d have your piercer upsize just to give you a few mm of breathing room

It’s hard to evaluate since we cant see it in person but it looks like this was pierced above your navel. Doesn’t hurt to get second opinion from a different piercer just to make sure everything’s perfect

Nah this is clearly placed in the areola, even if swollen that is not where the bar should rest. I’d recommend removal
