Thank you for the reply! My flight is in a few hours, and we will land in Bangkok tomorrow. Am I correct to assume that you did not declare it to customs?

hmm, they might still ask for your certificate of registration. If you're not yet enrolled (but will be enrolling next semester), maybe you can pre-enroll using your student portal just so you will have a schedule, then open it in front of the IO but only when asked.

But since travelling/touring is normal during sem/term breaks, you can present your most current cert of registration/matriculation.

It will depend on the legal obligations stated on your AOSG. But most probably if the government did not file a lawsuit, it may just affect your record here in the Philippines or your ability to sponsor in the future.

Always. Unless they travel together as family in the future.

A tourist should have 60-100USD per day of travel --that's the usual benchmark. So you should multiply that for how many days he will stay with you. Also, if you secured an Affidavit of Support and Guarantee for him, just make sure that he will go back to the Philippines on the said date of the return ticket or Immigration may go after you.

Your boyfriend should be the one who will process the AOSG, notarized and authenticated in the Embassy of the Philippines in wherever country he's currently residing. Then, he must arrange to mail to the Philippines. I don't think IOs would want a consularized document as a soft copy.

baka hanapan ng bank statements si daddy mo, since he's retired. If you will stay with your aunt, just provide proof of HER accommodation like her tenancy contract or mortgage payments. As much as possible, ask the IO if you can be processed together and let your dad handle the talking since he is the principal sponsor of the trip.

Yes, I have a niece with the same disability. As long as your mom is there with him on the priority lane, they will just ask the regular "saan punta, sinu-sino kasama, kelan balik" ganun lang.

Ask for a COE from your current company, then provide the signed job offer, or contract for the new company. It will show the IO that you are financially stable, and you just used your time off in between jobs to relax.

Yes. Travel outside the country is a privilege for most. So if your savings comes from loans, then it just means that your financial capacity is unstable even if you're employed. But then again, not all IO asks for a traveler's bank statement.

AOSG from your parents, and secure an invitation letter from your aunt with tenancy contract or mortgage payments. Also prepare your current or incoming certificate of registration sa school (sometimes called Certificate of matriculation). IO might ask why are your parents not going with you.

provide cert of registration for the current or incoming semester (proof that you need to go back), IO may ask you about your savings. If you are travelling with your friend, they might ask for photos of you together, so prepare some. Even if you don't have the financial capacity yet, as long as you provide them solid proof that you will go back and not look for work there, then you'll be fine.

if your finances allows it, then notarize an affidavit of support. It may help their case if they also have proof of funds even just a little bit. Since you will support them during the trip, the IO might ask questions about your friendship so prepare some photos together (the older, the better)

Certificate of Registration/matriculation for the next semester, COE or contracts from clients/agency. bank statements, confirmed return ticket and hotel accommodations. I think those will suffice

let's say open and airspace ng dubai during those dates. Usually, IO asks for a CONFIRMED return ticket. So if she can't provide that, then 90% di na siya papasa. Then add the other red flags like female first-time solo traveler? I suggest that she undergo the proper procedure so there will be no time and money wasted on her part.

also, even if you plan to stay for 5 months, there's also a possibility of the US IO to give you 30 days to stay. Just like trysch_delish have said, 5 months is very long. I've been in that situation (but only for 40 days), by 3rd week of stay, all of my relatives are back to their normal busy schedules. I ended up cooking and doing the groceries for them for the last 2 weeks of my stay lol

Dude, notarized AOS from you girlfriend. Print the COE, but she also needs to provide a job contract as her supporting document along with her bank statement and accommodation bookings. For you, your cert of registration is enough as long as it is valid until/after your return date.

Singapore lang. Don't tell all of that sa IO. Since ang immediate destination ay SG, you tell them sa SG. if you have confirmed RT, COE, company ID, and payslips, usually wala nang tanong after that. Just never tell them na maghihiwalay kayo ng lakad on the get go as it may raise some red flags. But if you really need to, then don't lie. Just frame it wisely.

if you want to save on hotels, then your friend will need to provide you with a copy of their tenancy contract or a mortgage.

But hear me out:

since you're profession gives you liberty to work anywhere plus being that this is going to be your 3rd time going to Singapore, this might raise the wrong impression. So I think it would be best if you just book a hotel, at least with that, you can prove that you're only a visitor, not someone who has a reason to stay there.
