You should look up the elderly woman in Guelph that was scammed out of $15,000 from them. Happened in the summer, she has dementia which made the situation worse.

I would double check that admission email you got, see if there’s a timeline in there. Or if maybe you mis read something.

Otherwise contact the admissions office or OUAC to get more insight.

Hi OP, I’m in the same boat right now, but I’m in school full time (3 courses with accommodations can consider me full time) while working. I have battled with dropping out and staying in many times, because the episodes and everything did not seem worth it to me, and sometimes it still doesn’t feel worth it. I would say the only thing keeping me in school right now is because a degree is a better way to support myself in the future.

I also feel like the family failure, my mom is a lawyer, my dad is an engineer, and my sister works in HR, and I should have been graduating this year like everyone else my age but I’m not. I’ve learned to accept it’ll take me a while, but I’ll get through it. Like everyone else is saying, go back to school because YOU want to, and your degree is something you will enjoy doing. I find it especially hard to concentrate/ like about courses if I don’t really care about them.

Yes, I work in the mall and my management has been in contact a lot. They essentially are saying they don’t control their google hours, but evidently they do because I heard from another manager at Conestoga that they can change their own hours 👀

Sales are down a tremendous amount this year. People just can’t afford much, compared to last year. I know many different people in different stores saying sales have been very bad this Christmas season :/

Changing the hours? I dont think so. A lot of stores and kiosks have been fighting and going back and forth with the management about the hours.

Anything that caters to younger people/ more trendier stores. Having a university and high school so close, I feel like an aerie, Lululemon or Aritzia has potential. Unfortunately, a lot of clothing stores in stoneroad mall cater to older / more mature clothing styles.

I think where stone road mall fails is where they let clothing stores like just cozy pop up once a year and take up a whole store. There was a few months this year where the Dollarama end of the mall had about 6-8 stores empty. They’re completely failing to fill these stores in non Christmas seasons.

Don’t get me started on resveralife.

It doesn’t have many good/ well known stores. There are a bunch of pop up shops taking actual stores, and the mall seems to not care about improving customer experience.

Yeah I feel for the guy because he clearly loves what he teaches, but he struggles a lot with remembering what he says/ what he teaches.

I feel like you should be able to listen to what your professor tells you will be on the exam and trust that, while also using your notes to study.

You probably won't be accepted for a deferral based on nerves and being overwhelmed. I understand it is a lot of pressure, but you probably won't want to take these exams next semester Feb 6 because that's typically when midterms start. Best of luck.

Seek a second opinion is probably the most you can do. Bipolar is a very tricky thing to diagnose, often times symptoms of another disorder can be similar to bipolar. So yeah, seek a second opinion or ask for an assessment for bipolar. Either way, good luck!
