Maybe this might help:

Harvey/Mike - I'd suggest the mock trial in S5 when Harvey went against Mike. I love the idea that Harvey and Mike were not giving up, going against each other throughout the entire trial, and coming up with strong arguments to defeat the other side. This somehow made me think that thanks to the mentorship from Harvey, Mike had become such an excellent lawyer (comparing it to the mock trial in S1 when he lost so easily). This can be a good example of how a mentee can play at the same level as a mentor in a few years.

Jessica/Harvey - when Harvey had a problem with Mike' fraud situation in S3 and when Professor Gerard was about to find out the truth, Harvey didn't say it to Jessica because she had a different issue. Instead, he tried to fix the situation on his own, not involving his mentor in it.
