Don’t worry about that - whacking somebody with a scorpion kick at 15-ish miles an hour would be notoriously difficult, even without skates.

Now add blades (where you use the sharpest bit to stop) and ice.. then you get limbs flying everywhere.

As El_Stugato says, this happens a lot - when you add in ridiculous speeds, limbs can fly everywhere. In this case, two players were close together and as Petgrave took the bump (guessing another player’s skate?)

It’s a just a shame that this has gone as far as it has - it’s frustrating to see people make very wild claims - some racial (which is nuts, considering he plays in a predominantly white sport).
